  1. Brent, try: http://www.love2pedal.com http://www.aerotechdesigns.com/big-and-tall-cycling-apparel.html?gclid=CPnQzu-up7YCFRCf4AodDgUA7Q
  2. I have read that set runs very small Brent.
  3. Yeah, there is actually a nice brewpub just off the trail as well. It might make getting back home a bit challenging.
  4. Happy Birthday Douglas.
  5. Sorry, it is North. http://www.carolinabrothers.com Rode with two groups today for a bit, one mostly of really slow beginners and their coach/teacher of some sort and one really fast one with Parlees, etc. The fast one was fun. There was one guy on a Panasonic with the seat slammed all the way down but the guy was fast regardless of the poor fit.
  6. Just got back from my own ride. Rode out to Leesburg and got in a nice 27 miles. Stopped for a pic at the ride up BBQ joint right on the W&OD Trail that I am going to take everyone if we ever have a HC Cycling Team meet in my area.
  7. Great looking bike. I definitely recommend the TDC as I am a big fan of the cause. I will be riding as a Team Red member, as a Type 1 Diabetic, so I hope to represent. Probably should be out riding now but I definitely need to do a ride tomorrow of longer than normal mileage as I am way out of practice.

    Shoe-Case

Picked up a pair of Allen Edmond and a pair of Rancourt & Co. loafers today. Wore the Peal & Co. shoes today and found them to be amazingly uncomfortable.

    Shoe-Case

I was looking, I could find very little there in my size. Lot's of tiny shoes, very little 12-12.5s.

I have owned a couple of pairs of Eccos and thought they were pretty good.

    <p>Don't know why my posts go nuts when I go back and edit them. Going to try out one or two from each contender at this point.<br /> <br /> Bought these Alden's in Black<br /> <br /> <span><img alt="Alden_Cap_Toe_Shoes_2.jpg" src="http://well-spent.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Alden_Cap_Toe_Shoes_2.jpg" /></span><br /> <br /> and these Peal &amp; Co. in a darker brown.<br /> <span><img alt="il_fullxfull.389173468_a0nn.jpg" src="http://img0.etsystatic.com/005/1/5569519/il_fullxfull.389173468_a0nn.jpg" /></span></p>

I think those G&G look great. I will have to research to see if I can see those around here.

    Shoe-Case

Yeah, I think modern is the wrong word. The Mephisto shoes just seem kind of blocky so I am looking to avoid that.

    Shoe-Case

Looking to update quite a bit lately and I am moving on from all my Mephisto dress shoes to something a bit more modern/interesting. Couldn't find a shoe-case thread here hiding amongst murses and bicycles so I figured we could have a nice discussion of something I assume most of us use. I have Allen Edmonds right across the street and an Alden one train stop away so they are first on my radar. Fashionista Colin pointed out the Peal & Co. option as well made shoes available at Brooks Brothers so I am looking at them as well. So what does the well-appointed Head-Caser wear for daily dress, casual, sport shoes around here?
  15. Meatloaf Mignon. Bacon wrapped meatloaf.
  16. I am riding in the Northern Virginia TDC the first weekend of June. Should be fun.
  17. If only I could get race ready. I was trying to keep my cadence up over the 85 I managed last time but it wore me out pretty quickly. Not sure I am going to be up for a long ride for the Tour de Cure at this rate.
  18. Did a short 7 mile ride on the Cervelo. Managed to drop 7+ seconds off several PRs. The Cervelo just feels so fast and responsive after riding the DeSalvo and Calfee the last few rides.
  19. Comcast must have stolen some bandwidth from Verizon as my speeds are down.
  20. I am about to head out for a short ride now and hope to have a bit of a ride tomorrow. I have not put many miles on any of the bikes this year.
  21. I bought a nice Dukane for grilling but i tend to use the Traeger for just about everything anyway.
  22. After using my parent's Big Green Egg I am extremely happy I got the Traeger. That thing was a pain to use and flavor was nothing special.
  23. I have several of those. They work really well.

    HBDOTU

Happy Birthday Al. Have a great one.
  25. I have a spare pedal wrench you can have Justin. I actually have spare cleats for the XTRs as well so you could try the whole setup if you want.
