  1. I am available Saturday or Sunday. I would think Schaeffer Farms if Justin doesn't drive up as it will be in between us and the Maryland crew. Wakefield might make more sense if Justin decides to drive up since it will cut an hour off his drive.
  2. Raffy, I was thinking 80-100 somewhere. This is a heavyish, large carrier so I think shipping would make it a less desirable purchase for someone not local.
  3. Oh yeah, I have the adapter to allow for easier full suspension mounting on the rack. It is not needed for my WFO-9 so I have no idea what bike would need it.
  4. Any of the local guys need a bike carrier? I have the Thule 9001 Raceway carrier that I am about to sell but I thought I would check here to see if someone wanted it cheap.
  5. Buy it, I am interested to hear your impressions as I might have to pick one up for myself.
  6. We had talked about Wakefield and Schaeffer Farms.
  7. I think a weekend might work out better. I am around this weekend. Chris, Juan, Ben?
  8. So when/where are we doing the HC Virginia/Maryland MTB Meet?
  9. Looks great. The more Chris King the better in my book.
  10. Seems like a big stretch. Looks like it has a fairly short stem though so that might help.
  11. I agree, you should buy it Nate.
  12. Thanks everyone. 24 hours later I am right on the verge of $1k in donations. The greatest majority from HC people. Really appreciate the donations.
  13. Fingers crossed for Nate.
  14. Ari, the Calfee bikes ride really nice.
  15. I have found the BlackRapid people to be excellent at events and in customer service.
  16. It is a testament to the group here that I met my original goal within an hour of posting here. So in typical HC style I guess I just raise my goal. Your generosity is much appreciated guys.
  17. Hi Guys, I figured I would post this to my friends here at HC. I certainly support the cause as a Type 1 Diabetic and I do not believe I will have any trouble meeting my numbers but any support for the cause means a lot to me. My Page: http://main.diabetes.org/site/TR/TourdeCure/A1WDC-DistrictofColumbiaMetroArea?px=8725939&pg=personal&fr_id=8619 Thanks, Jeff
  18. The Mountain bike is prepped for the season so we need to figure out when that ride is going down. Hoping to do a road ride Sunday. Chris, Juan, Nebby anyone looking to do a ride. My shop mechanic might be joining in.
  19. I have 28 tires on the DeSalvo and 32 spoke Chris King hubs and while heavy these wheels seem bomb proof. I also have Chris Kings on the MTB that Brent's friend made for me that are fantastic and he does it for a very reasonable price and quickly. I assume your bike came with 24 spoke wheels which are going to be tough to keep round with someone over 300 pounds.
  20. I am in for pretty much anything, unless it is Huffy sponsored.
  21. Halibut right off the boat.
  22. Soup was a big surprise for me. Does a really nice job. Love mine for smoothies once I found the right setting. It is too fast to use it as I did my previous blender.
  23. You should check out one of the pro bodies. I hardly use my D800 as the function/feel of the Pro body is so much better.
  24. I would like to but I have to fly to Canada tomorrow morning for the week.
  25. Flats on a road bike do not work for me. I guess I will need some clipless pedals on the DeSalvo. Never had my feet in the right place, especially with the slick as hell Brooks seat. Managed to set two PRs somehow but the hills were pretty tough on my super heavyweight bike.
