  1. 9 works for me. Hopefully Ben pops in and confirms he can make it down here by then. We would need to leave my house by 8:45 to get to the meeting spot.
  2. Thanks Jon, I needed a photo software for my work laptop.
  3. I am open to any time. Ben has a longer trip to get here so it probably won't be real early.
  4. You are doing a Metric aren't you? I can ride over to the trail and meet you at the normal place and ride out with you and back. If you want you can either park at the trail or come here and we can ride over. Kind of busy roads but not awful.
  5. Yeah I am going to ride somewhere for sure. Did a nice loop today but it was pretty bad with traffic so not great for a small group.
  6. Fucking Garmin deleted all of my ride and just shows the ride to the shop this morning. So are we doing a ride tomorrow? Ben, time to do some hill climbing on your lightweight bike.
  7. Raffy. All they have is 50 in a small frame. I am trying a Dogma with Red 22 and Hydraulic disc brakes next.
  8. 3 EPS systems broke on the ride. One computer bricked and two auto down shifters broke. Frame was pretty great and fast. Did the second loop on the Calfee. Managed to unclip on a huge climb. Just about wiped out. Garmin kept turning itself off so my Strava will be all fucked up. Something in the pedal programming so it would keep turning itself off every time I coasted too long. For some reason the Garmin decided I was not moving when I was going 25+ MPH. I am not sure if the cadence/speed sensor plays well with the pedals as they have their own cadence sensor on board. I did end up sticking with the lead group on a serious hill climbing route. The guy I rode with at the end said 1600FT of climbing in 17 miles. It ended up he lives on my street just a few houses down from me.
  9. On a dogma 65.1 with full Campy SR11 EPS. Pretty sweet.
  10. Okay, I guess I am going to go on the shop ride at 11.
  11. Is there going to be a HC ride this weekend? My wrist seems to be pretty good but I am not sure if anyone ever made any plans.
  12. Looks like Fresh Bikes is having a ride Sunday in to DC from my shop to ride around the monuments with a stop at the Arlington store. Two big rides this weekend from the shop, they are really trying to get them in before the cold arrives.
  13. I think there is something wrong in the world if Colin Toole gets First Class upgrades.
  14. Chris, since you want to use them on several bikes I would think the mounting issues could be pretty big in your decision process. I have found that once safely installed they work very well and I have grown to like the pedals. Easier to clip in to for me.
  15. http://www.freshbikescycling.com/index.php/blog/entry/pinarello-demo-event-freshbikes-mosaic-october-5 I am probably out for the weekend as the Dr. says I need to rest my sprained wrist from the little auto accident last night. I did get my fit on the Calfee. So much better, watching the videos showed dramatically more efficient strokes and less bouncing as the seat was way to low where I had it. I knew it was but since I ride it so rarely I never bothered trying to get it right. Also got the full analysis and was told that I am very symmetric and have excellent pedal stroke, etc.
  16. Looks like there is a 2014 Pinarrello bike demo at my shop this weekend tied to a 1.5 hour ride.
  17. Of course after buying two long sleeve jerseys from Road Holland yesterday they bring out the 20% off sale today. Pretty decent deals if people are looking for some high quality jerseys.
  18. Looking good. Will it help you ride up a hill at speed? Is your Cannondale blue instead of gold like Justins?
  19. Nope no bikes. Hopefully it is just a new Kuat and no frame damage. The Kuat is amazing strong as it is still perfect after a 15-20MPH impact. Unfortunately I have no way to transport the bike to a ride this weekend at this point nor to the fittings for both bikes that I have scheduled for tomorrow.
  20. Got rear ended on the way home from work tonight. Kuat absorbed all the damage as far as I can tell. Broke the bolt in the bottom that allows you to tighten the rack down in the receiver hitch to keep it from wobbling so it is basically useless. Took quite some time to get the whole Family to get me insurance info and everything as they wanted to pay for the rack instead of filing a claim.
  21. If you snuck into the park and rode the road invisibly and didn't get eaten by a bear because they all know the cops are all gone.
  22. Did you just ride over with all your gear for the day or drive with the bike on a rack? I will only have a rental so no bike rack.
  23. Still trying to figure out which routes will still be available. I had heard Rock Creek Park might be closed but I am not sure if that is to cars, bikes or both. I was planning on staying at a Marriott and using points. There was one in the area I believe.
  24. Vicki, JP and Raffy will probably do something like 2.5k miles over the course of the weekend. I think Mike, Justin and I will do normal rides, 40-60 miles. We are having a training ride this weekend, Saturday probably.
  25. Yeah, I was going to get a Canon S120 but saw this in the cabinet. Seemed really low as the new ones are still selling for 600.
