Sweet...they also have Rockhopper's at the New England Aquarium in Boston....yep they rock. Pico is sounding quite good. Using it with my work computer and listening to Pandora radio stations. Not the best source of tunes, but still, I'm pretty happy with it. Bass is a little lighter than I'd like (using HD600) but that could be the lossy streaming audio I'm listening too and not the amp/DAC. I was listening to it (Pico) last night with my iPod and E500 just through the amp, and there was more than enough bass.

Well, perhaps I can enter that into iTunes and do it that way? I'll have to play with it when i get home tonight. iTunes allows you to specify stream addresses like that so we'll see.

Thanks tkam, I'll give it a shot when I get home. Of course I just thought about the fact that I might need a player to route this stuff through as well, I don't think you can play music via Slim server alone, it just can manage the stuff and remote control a player, it doesn't offer playback via your computer speakers/USB port does it?

Orange is my favorite color. I don't look good in orange clothing so I like to get orange things instead...I damn near shit a brick when they came out with the orange iPod Shuffle... never thought that would happen. If they ever make an orange full size iPod, I'm all over it. I just find the color fun and soothing. Got me an orange Lava Lamp at home too I like orange shit, and penguins.

So, how do i do this? Is it possible to access my Slim server from the internet on my work computer....keep in mind that I can't install anything on my work computer. DNS hosting? Is that what I need? How would I configure it? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, thrice

I'm listening to it right now....after 3 minutes of burn-in I'm already detecting some tightening of the bass... the highs have been pretty consistent throughout the burn-in so far... we'll see how it goes form here.

I'm not sure if I was around for the original airings, but I was aware of Happy Days as well as the Dukes of Hazzard, TJ Hooker, CHiPs, MASH, Dallas, Falcon Crest, and watched episodes for all of those shows (Dallas and Falcon Crest were my mom's shows, but since we only owned one TV at the time it was that or nothing.)
