  1. Dark - Dark (1986) Awesome album. Progy jazzy ethno world experimental music with ambient flavor, floating guitar and various cool percussive instruments. Recording engineer Walter Quintus is also on top of his game here.
  2. Mads Eriksen - ME (1994) This guy can shred with the best of them
  3. How does it compare to Fi amp? I heard some 2A3 Fi monos some time ago and they were very nice.
  4. I really like the first 3 albums, after that they lost me as a fan
  5. Was Crack The Sky - Animal Notes Now Sofia Gubaidulina - Offertorium [Gideon Kremer / Boston Symphony Orchestra / Charles Dutoit]
  6. Happy Birthday!
  7. Lower mids are a bit thick and have a slight coloration compared to SL amps in my system. Also SL amp seems to have a slight edge on imaging capabilities, but they are very similar and that makes Stratos a very good deal. I have read reviews that state that Stratos is not tube like at all, but this was not my experience, compared to some other SS amps it's actually much more grain free and warmer that your average big SS amp.
  8. Not a all, very tube like sounding for large SS amps. Odyssey licensed design from Symphonic Line and even got them to make boards for them, so Stratos are almost like SL amp, but still build quality and parts a bit different so is the sound. They are close, but I got a good deal on SL and slightly preferred the sound, a bit warmer and tonally more correct than Stratos.
  9. I already posted at head-fi that I will come by unless something family related interferes. I friend from work might be coming by as well as he is getting into headphones and posts over at head-fi This should be a cool meet
  10. Almost I had both Stratos and new RG1 Mk4, I think, is a bit nicer.
  11. Symphonic Line RG1 is a really good sounding amp that can be bought for 4K, or a used RG4
  12. Урфин Джюс - 15
  13. It's a Beautiful Day - 1969
  14. Glad you guys like it. More recent Bill Frisell albums left me completely cold. I liked him when he was somewhat experimental with an ambient streak, all this Brazilian Portuguese stuff is not my cap of tea. I also hated Petra Haden & Bill Frisell, that was such a horrible boring album.
  15. Le Orme - Felona e Sorona (1973)
  16. Ship of Fools - Close Your Eyes (Forget the World) (1993)
  17. Happy Birthday!
  18. Prefuse 73 - Everything She Touched Turned Ampexian (2009)
  19. A bit off topic, but this Liquid Fire 6moons review links Wikiphonia. Hilarious, I never thought that such "review" aka "advisement for money" site would use my free info site to push stuff, kinda sad. On the other hand maybe this will further push orthodynamic technology into popular market.
  20. Hawkwind - Choose Your Masques (1982)
  21. Fad Gadget - Incontinent (1981)
  22. Dust - Hard Attack (1972)
  23. Pierre Moerlen's Gong - Downwind (1979)
  24. Al Di Meola - Electric Rendezvous (1981)
