  1. One of my "rare-CD collecting" obsessed buddies confirmed that this is a legit site that delivers, although very slowly. So I looked through their site and found more cool stuff for very nice prices so I ordered a few more CDs, some of them shipping in 5 days. Lets see how it goes.
  2. Bought a bunch of Zeuhl stuff and something I really wanted to get a long time ago: News From Babel - Sirens & Silences / Work Resumed on the Towers / Letters Home (1995) Come with a OOP single on third bonus CD. Nine Days Wonder - We Never Lost Control (1973) On long OOP Bacillus CD for brand new just for a few $
  3. News From Babel - Letters Home (1986) Chris Cutler with Lindsay Cooper, Zeena Parkins, Dagmar Krause and Robert Wyatt.
  4. Hans Reichel - Yuxo - A New Daxophone Operetta (2002)
  5. Even better, since my CD is very OOP, like extremely OOP
  6. I glimmer of hope!!! Thanks grawk
  7. That is what I am thinking. I have been looking for this CD for some time and figured that they have one-off copy in stock since it's OOP. So I am afraid they will cancel my order after dicking around for 20 days. I am hoping someone had good experience with them. These guys are in Swetzerland and Germany so it could be that the CD is somewhere on the werehouse and they just need to get it and ship it to US.
  8. Did anyone order any music from Grooves Inc: http://grooves-inc.com? I ordered a CD that no one else seems to have but they had in stock, and now I am being quoted "The order will be ready for dispatch in about 20-22 working days." This makes me worried, if they had it in stock why does it take them 20 day to dispatch it.
  9. Red Snapper - Prince Blimey (1996)
  10. Spliff - The Spliff Radio Show (1980) Stoned Airlines to Jamaica: "Arrive with a head full of steam when you get there"
  11. Lucifer's Friend - Lucifer's Friend (1970) I put this on and the first song "Ride In The Sky" lifts the "Aaaaa Aaaaa" opening, but done here with a insane sreaming sax, from "Immigrant Song" or so I thought. But no, according to all sources "Ride In The Sky" was written before "Immigrant Song" and LF toured with LD before "Immigrant Song" was written. This just reinforces my dislike for Led Zeppelin as everything that they did seems plagiarized.
  12. Lucifer's Friend - Mind Exploding (1976)
  13. I would like to hear how this one sounds. I like SR-303/404 just fine, well not as much as LNS but I think they are nice headphones.
  14. What Hampton Hawes albums would you recommend? I have been meaning to get some of his stuff but never got around to it.
  15. Do you also need semiconductive material 250
  16. Maybe A grade is used in defense and NASA stuff only:p
  17. Full specs from Koss brochure in case someone is interested: ESP/950 Headphones: Frequency Response: 8-35,000 Hz Impedance: 100k ohms Sensitivity: 104 dB SPL/1mW Distortion <0.01% Diaphragm radiating surface area: 46.6 sq. cm Diaphragm: Ultra-low mass 1.5 micron C grade polyester film electron beam coated with proprietary semiconductive material 250
  18. Did you make the wadges yourself?
  19. Zao - Shekina (1975) Zao - Osiris (1974) Zao - Z=7L (1973) Great stuff, as good as anything Magma did. A jazzier look at Zeuhl but still with Orff and Stravinsky influences that Magma had. Faton Cahen and Yochk
  20. I would like to see a SR-303/404 or ESP950 driver put into a Sigma like stiff chassis made out of some hard wood or magnesium alloy. I know I said this several times, but I will bring this up again in hopes of someone doing this. I feel that Sigma's design is one of the best soundstage wise and with better vibration control and drivers this design can sound even more realistic than SR-007, and god knows I love my SR-007.
  21. Hans Reichel & Eroc - Kino (1986) Original KINO LP album from 1987 on 180 grams DMM vinyl. Just got this in the mail signed by Eroc. Great stuff, sounds better than my CD version, dynamics are off the hook.
  22. I did not have any issues with my ESP950 so far, maybe the dreaded squeal will spare my pair.
  23. Supersister - Iskander (1973)
  24. Peter Blegvad - Just Woke Up (1995)
  25. UB40 - Geffery Morgan (1984)
