I can think of some other things making this meet that would suck to be stuck with

I was able to swipe a DAC1 from a friend when I first got my DA10. Overall they both had fantastic detail and clarity with the DAC1 tending toward the leaner side of things and the DA10 towards the fuller side. The DA10 just had the discrete goodness no opamp based design can touch in way of clarity/detail yet warmth and smoothness to the sound.

One of the only reasons I want to go to the meet...I mean I love you guys... the thing looks great.

I was talking single-ended for the common folk....the bloat is much of the reason why i like the 600s better single ended.

I was not talking impact or such they just have a very emphasized bottom end... the 701s are a lot more balanced in the regard and do not sound muddy or bloated.

They announced that it was going to increase 15% a few weeks back.
