I briefly had a set of the UF's - they feel much bulkier in the ears and look it too. If you are able to get a good seal, they do however sound just as good as my customs of the same.

Looking to get a set of active studio monitors.
Having a hard time deciding between a set of coaxial's such as Equator or PreSonus or ribbon's such as Emotiva or Adam.
Both have their pros and cons, but there is no way for me to try all of them in my office.
Budget is about $1,500.
So, got the blessing from my wife.
Who all is going? Just want to make sure it's worth the 4hrs in a car and time away from family... I don't really care about the gear.

We have a PC that streams videos from sources like Bloomberg and MSN... The issue is the videos all have varying volume levels. Are there any software or hardware options to normalize volume on the fly? We are using stereo analog audio outputs.
Also worked for my cable TV that I had for free for 2years in our first apartment. Either lazy or not cost-effective to send out tech to swap out or remove filters
