  1. Its a nice solid watch. I have the same in silver. Liked the looks for it.

    Cable Cutters

Having two small kids I do not get much screen time, but we have been happy with Netflix/Hulu/Roku channels... we had Aero up until they went under, was great for the Olympics and such. We mostly use iPads to watch something while cleaning/cooking and Roku on our TV on occassion. Haven't had cable/sat for about 2 years now.
  3. You can add a few seconds to your life by doing the below and booting direclty to desktop. 1. After booting Windows 8.1 click the Desktop tile to enter Desktop mode. 2. Right-click any open area in the taskbar, then click Properties. 3. Click the Navigation tab, then check the box next to Go to the desktop instead of Start when I sign in. 4. Click OK, then reboot. Windows Classic Shell is also handy to get the normal start button back. http://www.classicshell.net/ Stardock is also a nice cheap app that expands the start menu and desktop functionality. http://www.stardock.com/products/start8/
  4. If they are half as good as their subs, which I have no reason to believe they would be anything less, then go for it. I love my SVS PC Ultra sub. Also, 45 day inhome trial.
  5. No, just that they are a contact in gmail. When setting up your phone you have an option to set it as your default texting app.
  6. For an uncluttered apartment that doesn't have many flooring transitions, it should work pretty well. We have a Neato running around our office. http://www.neatorobotics.com/
  7. You can text (SMS/MMS) via the Hangouts desktop app and mobile.
  8. Please no one bid on those Jubilee. That is one of two headphones I regret selling.
  9. Finally some hard numbers. Not great, but seems about average. The Galaxy Note is a tank however. Article: It's Actually Incredibly Difficult To Bend The iPhone 6 And 6 Plus — Here's What It Takes http://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-bend-the-iphone-6-and-6-plus-2014-9
  10. I was paying $130 for two lines with 4GB of shared data, before my recent change. That includes my 22% corporate discount. Seems like ATT has slightly better rates.
  11. Thanks for the heads up Justin. Just broke out our family share... Saving $20mo for the same service.
  12. I asked the Apple sales guy where I should send the invoice for my time. He just looked at me and waked away.
  13. So, anyone who cares to know the end result of my journey. Call Apple support again, who called the store and confirmed they had stock. Was told to go to the store for a replacement. Got to the Apple store who told me they couldn't do anything without me have an appointment. Setup an appointment for the next day as nothing else was available that day, only for them to tell me they have no replacements and will not for some unknown time. So, I returned it and will continue to use my S4. To add, I spent 35 minutes on hold before speaking to a live person, whose apology was that the wait time was worse earlier and I was lucky, gee thanks.
  14. I called back. They will waive the $7, but their return method is stupid. They either ship me a box and label in 2-3 days or I bring it to an authorized UPS store for them to do the return. They are seemingly in capable of sending me a UPS label that I can place on the box I have and leave for my office pickup.
  15. My iPhone 6 came broken... half the backlight is out. I was told that I can pay them $30 to cross ship a device to fix the problem... or pay them $7 for them to send me a refurb in a week or two.
  16. Just picked up this. Seamaster Aqua Terra 8500. Omega has greatly improved their quality, even since my 2004 version of the same watch with 2500 movement. ... I sold my Rolex Datejust and happily used the proceeds to buy this. The automatic Seiko's and Citizen Eco Drives are great.. until you discover Grand Seiko and The Citizen. I have a titanium Eco Drive that I love.
  17. Most LCD TVs are about 450nit. High bright displays are about 700-800nit. Seems the screen would not be great in direct sunlight.
  18. I also had said cheap KGSS, it made a great stack with the GBR. http://s6.photobucket.com/user/grandenigma1/library/KGSS
  19. I believe I sold mine for $1,400 around 2007/08...Don't care to log on to that other site to verify. Edit: sold it for $1,400 in 2006
  20. Wish I never sold my GBR. http://s6.photobucket.com/user/grandenigma1/library/GBR
  21. It is an aggregate of all video cards - desktop, mobile, and embedded... you are being compared to something like a Titan desktop card. I wouldn't really pay attention to those numbers in any meaningful way aside from determining where a bottleneck might be based on your application.
  22. The ECP Audio DSHA-1 is a fantastic amp with the LCD-X... was my office rig. I suspect the Black Diamond is likely of similar quality.
  23. At least the past few posts have discussed actual products
  24. This was my first "smart phone" got it around 2005-6
  25. This beards and hats exclusive line looks interesting... http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/970955-REG/senal_asm_4_4_2_way_active_studio.html
