My point is I don't care. Not that you shouldn't either.
I happily own a GS with 9F movement and a solar atomic Casio, due to their accomplishments as well.
It's man jewelry. There isn't a single thing I do in my life that a matter of seconds relative to someone else makes a difference. I'm an engineer and just flat out appreciate the art of watchmaking. And that I get to wear nearly all of my watches for free or profit, if you buy right.
That said, this is a cool app.
I'm a dainty 6.5" wrist so 40mm is often pushing it.
It also has the original packaging, manuals, etc.
As far as I'm concerned, the EII is a bit of a dark horse... It's a fantastic watch, but is often overshadowed by the GMT and SubC.
Just picked up a transitional Explorer II from 2008 with the new 3186 movement and engraved rehaut.
Nearly the best of both worlds. Love the new bracelets and wish this had one, but don't like the larger size or hands.
Sell me your Explorer II.... I have been meaning to pickup one. Just don't care to buy new and the originality of these is always suspect at best when it comes to used Rolex online.
Depending on your locality you might not be able to legally replace only a portion of of the circuits in the house without doing the whole thing.
GFCI would be good, but they are not legal for use everywhere.
I would definitely not be using an electrostatic amp in a house without a ground
Older homes did not have grounds as there was no need for them at the time. The wiring for the homes only had two conductors. The only way to fix it would be to re-wire your house... Which becomes a rabbit hole.
That said, if you have three prong outlets and they are reading an open ground, that is definitely against code.
But then I would have to bother with selling my A6000 and lenses and spending $1600ish for a used RX1 which has inferior AF, but better IQ.
The A7(II) rental would be my vote Crappy.
99% of the pictures from the past 2.5yrs have been of my kids... but my A6000 w/ SEL24F18z is an awesome combo. AF is rapid fast and clarity is amazing.
For some reason, the RX1 keeps tempting me, but I am not convinced that it will be much better than my current setup.
Regarding laptops, this would be my current, non-Apple choice. Although I do not do any gaming or anything that requires a dedicated GPU, that said the recent gen of Intel HD graphics are actually quite good.

What is the reason for needing it to fit a full size HDD? Aside from building yourself using a custom case, there aren't many small form factor systems that accommodate anything larger than a 2.5" drive these days. It seems like the Lenovo you linked should be more than adequate in replacing a 12yr old system that was still able to do want you needed it to.
