Thanks Grawk, umm...I guess when you say balancing circuit I'm assuming you mean through a preamp? The reason I ask, I'm considering the Emerald Physics CS1 speakers, the digital crossover they use has only balanced I/O. The manufacturer encourages the use of balanced connectors.

Question, would the duet be able to function with a custom balanced breakout cable or balanced adapters to the current breakoutcable? I'm not asking which would be better between the two but whether the duet can be used in balanced setup, thanks.

Thanks all for the pin out suggestion, sadly I'm far from being a technical guy. I was hoping someone was already making and selling RCA connectors.

Not to go off topic, but are there any alternatives to the supplied breakout cable for RCA? I saw someone made one with RCA and cable already attached, but I'd like to use my own cable with as little or no other cable in the signal path.

Of course, just wanted some more impressions until I can make my own comparisons.
