NKOTB - TTVJ/Millett 307A Headphone Amp
aardvark baguette replied to n_maher's topic in Headphone Amplification
It is expensive, but not ripoff expensive for what you get. The Ear HP4 now goes for about $5k new, and is the most similar amp I can think of, in its use of transformers. I'll bet it sounds bitchin. I'm not crazy on its aesthetic choices though. -
I probably wont be getting this, but if ever anything was totable (with decent storage space) its this: http://www.engadget.com/2008/03/10/buffalo-announces-500gb-ministation-turbousb-external-hdd/ No power outlet needed

Now that shit was funny

Sony PS-X800 (vinyl cheap and easy)
aardvark baguette replied to 909's topic in Home Source Components
That was a bit...specific. You have the 411 on roasted anus sauce, and how it tastes? -
I found this to be the case, but only for about a month or so. Then all of a sudden, I just sort of forgot about it. Never noticed it or thought about it. I kept a full beard for almost exactly one year. At least for me, you aren't bothered by it whatsoever after a while, it just sort of becomes part of you, the same way as head hair. YMMV though.

Just shake your head. Really, really hard.

We should go to the track. I need to win some superfectas. I was one horse away from $10,000 once. $2 bet. My 4th pick came in 5th.

That is the look of a sad realization that I will be neglecting her in favor of ripping all those discs
-
update: The 150 lot came in the mail today
-
If you have thick enough hair, consider a beard. No razor burn FTW Though it will itch for the first 2 weeks or so.

Beatles: Sgt Peppers Lonely Hears Club Band Britney Spears: ...Baby One More Time comparison would contrast an artist's music + studio engineer prowess/direction/input etc, versus no original artist music + all studio engineer prowess/direction/input etc.

You're right, I'm a jackass.

I miss having a beard. There was like no upkeep involved at all. Just cut the edges once every few weeks. I only got rid of it for a job interview. I've kept it off since.

I used to eat those. I haven't seen them in about 10 years. -
You didnt even need to buy it

I always laugh at people on the street with long hair, who have their hair going over the ears, and headphones on top of the hair.

hehe, I may have jury duty tomorrow, so I took it upon myself to skip shaving this weekend

Metallica MFSL Half Speed Mastered Vinyl April 15th
aardvark baguette replied to postjack's topic in Music
I knew I should have made an investment on that. You guys think the Metallica 45's will escalate in value? Because Im ordering like 5 each if thats the case. -
I dont think I can ever listen to radiohead again now

Hope I never get a kidney stone on stage

You know what; to hell with 3G, to hell with 64GB; what I really want need is the ability to drag and drop music like the ipod. I hate having to keep playlists in iTunes. If I convert lossless to mp3 for the purpose of putting on the iphone, I want to delete the mp3 from the library afterwards (not the hard drive; just the visual library). I cant do that, because the next album I want to add later, anything I removed from the library will be erased from the iphone. If they can provide ipod-like support for drag and drop, I will be much happier. Syncing takes away all user control, imo.
