  1. those signs are a bitch to put up. You forget a letter, and they all have to come out. Especially aggravating if the sign is high in the air; you have to use a long stick with suction cups to put them up there, and the letters always fall off the cups. Uggh, that drudges up awful memories...
  2. Well the one I had earlier was flawless, but I only had it for a short time. I have used LaCie, WD, Seagate and Fantom Drives too. I prefer the Cavalry to all of them. It is the quietest of the bunch, the coolest temp. of the bunch, and it also comes with eSata, in the best packaging of any drive I've ever got. They have some similar models for about $50 more that offer raid capabilities too. For my current needs, I wanted maximum storage space in as little physical space as possible (so I got JBOD). Hopefully this one will be just as quiet and cool as the last one I had.
  3. Judging from a previous one I used, it was whisper quiet and cool to the touch. Only after loading around 300 gigs did it get infinitesimally above room temp I intend to get a second one for backup soon too.
  4. tisk tisk
  5. charming gal.
  6. just fucking get it, dude
  7. ^^ That looks familiar. I think I saw that somewheres.
  8. Justin, if you do update the list, I'd like to give you my headfi name (SR-71Panorama) since I ordered from your website, you probably dont already have that info.
  9. I have the mofi DSOTM. Its good, but I heard a custom version of money that blows it out of the water. I think it was from the original master tapes, but I dont remember.
  10. I dont know the make/model of my home computer chair, but it cost $110 at Staples and is the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in.
  11. There should be a bunch of buttons on the top left corner, that look like VCR buttons, with an arrow for the next page. If not, I guess you'd have to subscribe to the emails. (free) Sorry if its not working for everyone
  12. http://www.buy.com/prod/cavalry-2tb-2-x-1tb-sata-drives-usb-2-0-external-hard-drive/q/loc/101/205714248.html 2 Terra bytes for $410 after rebate

  14. I was 3 or 4 years old. No parachute pants for me.
  15. She'd make an excellent sniper.
  16. is this an awkward time to post this emoticon: * * * ?
  17. Breaking Bad Spoilers reminds me of the season finale of Breaking Bad. "Heisenberg" smashes a piece of fulminated mercury on the ground and blows out all the windows of the room he is in.
  18. Im glad I dont have to shave my pits or legs. But I think it would be easier to develop a toughness to the skin on an arm pit than the human face. And of course legs are no where near as sensitive as faces. That said, I still am glad I'm a guy, cause there is a myriad of other things that females tend to do for hygiene. hehe, reminds me of the headcase slogan
  19. My old boss had a beard that was like 1 ft long. After shaving it, he said his wife couldn't stand it's absence; "she wanted something to grab on to"
  20. I think a little more attention to detail would help greatly; for example, the hex bolts or whatever they are on the transformers; surely these parts can be ordered in black? And couldn't the transformers be mounted so that you are not looking dead on at the bolts, and instead are viewing the smooth thin side of the transformer? (maybe not, I dont know, but I think it would look nicer) I'd also prefer to see the tubes in front of the transformers, but I guess that is subjective too. It needs a knob job () and outright part replacement for those ugly knobs, imo. Not trying to crap on the design, just my $00.02
  21. Black, silver, blue + red = one busy looking piece of kit. I'd prefer all black, save for white controls on the faceplate.
