  1. Just to mess with him, bring a bunch o keyboards if you have them, and electronic music stuff. Tell him you want to make the 1st Electronic/industrial/idm/etc Mapleshade album.
  2. I haven't tried it, but I'd be surprised if it didn't.
  3. I think his Maryland mansion is near the same woods where the whole Blair Witch incident happened. Or maybe it has something to do with our water I do love the platforms though. Air dried FTW.
  4. FWIW I was able to run my HD650 all damn night the first night I opened my PICO from the mail packaging. It came fully charged (I can only assume). I listened to some music and played a bunch of Crysis. I lost track of time, but it was definitely the entire evening after work, and at least some of the next evening before running out of steam. Then I plugged it in. I havent used it again yet, since I got 2 picos, but its pretty nice. You can use it for a great while, then plug it in while you sleep, as you would an ipod or iphone. No big deal.
  5. Whaaat the fuuuuuck ?
  6. Once you get more than 500Gb it gets pricey having multiple backups. :'( Give me 100MB/S upload speed internet. Then I'll be a happy camper.

  18. Fuck yeah. You won't be sorry I've been meaning to send him the Challengers vinyl (provided I get off my ass and buy it). I cant find any reviews of the vinyl, but it would be great if it had less loud mastering. I love that album.
  19. Ive heard a bunch of Ray Brown albums (or albums that happen to have Ray Brown). My all time favorite would have to be This One's For Blanton, but I think this selection would be a little more universally accessible to the most jazz fans. It is OOP now, so look for a used copy on Amazon or similar. For those of you who already have This One's For Blanton, I'd recommend getting this: The Duo Sessions This is actually 2 Ray Brown albums (NOTE: NOT Ray Brown Trio) with Jimmy Rowles: "As Good As It Gets" and "Tasty !". Both albums are just piano and bass. One thing I love about a lot of Ray Brown music (this included) it that there is no recording hiss of any sort. Plenty of jazz albums that go way back have great sound quality, but often times there is some hiss as well. But RB material tends to be from the '70s and '80s and even '90s, so you get world-class recordings of world-class music, imo. There is plenty of jazz that I love to death, but some are what I would consider 'focused listens', and some that I am always up for listening to. This falls into the latter category. I never tire of it . HERE IS A SHORT SAMPLE http://www.sendspace.com/file/90zufw
  20. Skimmed it too. Pretty interesting for people who dont already have PS. But I dont know how many people would have the patience to upload large files all the time. There are lots of distilled image editing programs, but having used Photoshop since high school, I personally couldnt settle for less than the full program. Especially everything under Image>Adjust. Thats my bread and butter. That and layer masks.
  21. Dont push his buttons
