  1. They're using JoeRotate javascript, according to their code. I'm not really a coder, but you could try being one of "those guys" that disable javascript on your browser globally. Or look for a javascript hack. But if you stay logged in, you can just minimize all the stupid side windows they have and they remain in that state until you delete cookies. Its easy enough, that its too much hassle to seek out anything, imho.
  2. Office food/supplies: One E5 22-oz. Thermos 'Hydration Bottle' Two boxes of Kashi GOLEAN Protein & Fiber Bars Crunchy, Chocolate Peanut 1.76-Ounce bars (pack of 24) Two packs of Eclipse Sugar free Big-E Pak Gum, SpearMint I've never tried the Kashi before, but its time to cut back on the calories, and these should make good meal-replacements/supplements
  3. Circa 2006 Focal Utopia were highly desired in car audio. But not their tweeters. People hated them. I stopped reading about car audio since getting my car done, so I dont know if this is still the case. This was before any of the 'be' stuff came out.
  4. nice --- oh and I could too
  5. Thats alot of Jack Daniels
  6. I've just gone a few whole days without buying any new music. Anything over 48 hours and I start to convulse violently.
  7. "I need a girlfriend SO bad" "Michael stop hugging me now!" I also liked Dwight's wisdom about the 2nd spare key: "If I'm dead...you all have been dead for weeks"
  8. Amazon Prime is your friend $80 per year subscription, for year-long free shipping from anything sold by Amazon themselves. (of course you can upgrade to faster shipping on individual purchases, for $) I've saved so much fucking money from it. And it all defaults to 2nd day shipping Of course its not worth it if you only buy like 1 cd a month
  9. Coverflow in Foobar? Looks like ctrl alt prtscreen
  10. I dont know, they look like pretty effective people-plows to me
  11. They better have variable volume gain
  12. Low and behold, the first entry in Google image search:
  13. ahem......Peanut Butter. That is all.
  14. GodDAMN thats an awful website. Of course the cabling far surpasses it in fugliness.
  15. To date, I have spoken to one, repeat ONE knowledgeable person at Best Buy.
  16. I'm thinking of picking up one of these for temporary CD/SACD playback until I can get something 'spensive. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000UIA6YM/ref=ord_cart_shr?%5Fencoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance Aside from having optical to my DAC3 (which I'm convinced sounds better than USB on this particular DAC) I can listen to discs while ripping other CDs in EAC, and not tax the computer as much. I often have a huge backlog of new CDs that need to be ripped, and it becomes a choice of listening or ripping, when using USB. I'm eyeing various Esoteric units. I've got half a mind to go for the P05/D05, but that would be months and months of saving. It would definitely be the most expensive purchase I've ever made, lol. I'd need something to tide me over I think. If I go with something like an X05, it wouldn't take that long.
  17. It would be great if manufacturers would burn in the gear themselves.
  18. I never saw transformers.
  19. Wow that looks intense.
  20. Headamp Pico w/ DAC + HD650s. Done.
  21. You probably are best buying one used here on HC. In addition to too few builders, there is (to my knowledge) much involved in building one, and alot of parts involved, hence the high prices of new units. You can save a bunch of clams getting one used. I've seen 2 or 3 offered on Head Case in the last few months, one of which found its way to me
  22. In a moment, I am posting the how-to for all the web guys in Las Vegas
