  1. I didnt realize there was a Bel Canto there. (not that I was there, just the post 2 spots above is the mention I've seen of it)
  2. But its not the first time. So I've already been softened up a bit edit: lol, just noticed my screen name
  3. My first reaction was that something was said in the thread that was bad, but I had no idea what. Seemed like an ordinary thread to me, content-wise. But I can see why he'd want the seller unaware of it.
  4. :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused: ?
  5. I can't think of why it was moved, is all.
  6. Cant say I had the pleasure. I just saw the link from [H].
  7. ugly
  8. I'm not too worried. I sampled some on Rhapsody and liked what I heard. Plus I've been most pleased with sets 1 & 2, and a bunch of that is Fritz stuff too. I like these box sets, as they seem like a great place to "start" with classical.
  9. lol, you weren't kidding Best cat evar
  10. From the expression, it looks like that cat is telling me, via esp, to grab the axe in the garage. That, or end her life, I cant tell
  11. Happy B Day!
  12. Living Stereo SACDs, sets 3 and 4, via Elusive Disc:
  13. If I opt to get a design put on whatever I end up buying, its going to be this logo, minus the text (or visa versa):
  14. I finally hooked up the Bel Canto to my computer via optical, instead of the usual USB. (Behold the awesome power of procrastination ). Not sure if its any better. I put on a Fleet Foxes song and heard some distortion I never noticed before, but too much for me to have simply overlooked it. Maybe the Bel Canto Dac3 has a crappy optical implementation, or maybe my 680i mobo does. I don't hear anything objectionable w/ the Living Stereo classical I've been ripping today though. I get the feeling I've lost some texture in the violins, but maybe its just not as 'warm' as usual w/ my HD650s. Then again, its picking up amazing texture from what I think is an oboe. Could I really have been that deaf w/ the USB setup I've had for so long Also the Oppo Digital redbook has sounded fine to the Bel Canto via optical. I'll need to do more listening this week, I guess. Though I may move my 'big rig' back up to my room to use w/ my new computer.
  15. BEETHOVEN OVERTURES CONDUCTED BY COLIN DAVIS (LIMITED EDITION) Complete impulse buy. Meh, why the hell not.
  16. NO; Italian ice is expensive.
  17. Deodorant, toothpaste, listerine, frozen pizza and Italian ice.
  18. I believe this is the cheapest I have ever seen 1TB drives. ($149) ZZF
  19. No, that was meant for Dusty. But, then again, why not?
