Sorry to bitch, but I'm getting a little sick of this cable tomfoolery. It seems like people want aftermarket cables simply because they exist. More people seem to gravitate to the report about the jack type than the reviews lauding the stock cable itself. The description of it seems to be the type of thing people would usually opt for in an aftermarket cable already, unless I'm missing something.
After I move out in a month or two (knock on wood) I think I'm going to commission someone to build me a headphone stand like this one. I particularly like the base, I may go for wood dowels or something for the poles, instead of anything synthetic.
