  5. You'd think so, but... Honestly I just have to decide whether I want to save money for speakers or keep buying CDs. I'm moving into my friend's townhouse, so the rent will be like half of what I'd pay for an apartment. At this rate of CD purchases, I'm going to have to keep shipping them to my parents house, as there is no room for them at the townhouse, and no front porch, so always having like 10 packages by the front door will be tempting fate

  8. Willis Jackson Quintet - Please Mr. Jackson Ripped this tonight. Good woody reeds, with that fuzzy, breathing quality, which mates well with the organ.
  9. I haven't seen the movie, though I recognize the characters.
  10. Well the most accurate count of my stash i have is my flickr photo set, since those are the physical scans of covers I did myself. Its at 443 right now, although I think I have one or two duplicates. The text list I have is probably not 100% accurate, but it goes to 1363. I know its missing something, because there is a Jimmy Heath album, Swamp Seed, that I couldnt find anywhere on the list, but it shows up on Amazon. And there is a cassette tape listed that is not available on CD, and a few similar anomalies. That list includes Original Blues Classics, which is like 2 pages out of 29. I figure I will order another grand or two's worth before I move, to compensate for rent later on, which will slow things down a bit

  20. I dont think I am having a 'problem' but I have FF with Ad Block Plus and Hyperwords at home and office. Norton at home, V-Shield at office. FWIW.
  21. 2 of these bad boys eVGA UV Plus USB VGA Adapter 100-U2-UV16-A1 USB 2.0 Interface - Retail Since I bought a 37" sharp aquos for my home monitor, I'll be migrating 2 smaller monitors (19" optiquest and 20" dell) from home to the office, where I currently have dual 19" viewsonics. 4 monitors FTW It says VGA but it has DVI.
  22. The quality torch seems to shift back and forth every few years, but there's definitely an awful lot of people who are no longer Seagate diehards. Its been a little while in the making, but the 5 year warranty no longer instills blind confidence in the brand anymore. A warranty is nice, but it doesnt get your data back. Ever since the 640GB AAKS drive from WD, I've considered myself a WD convert, more or less. Although I still wouldn't touch their external drives with a ten foot pole.
  23. Maybe I was logged onto HC from another computer, but I didnt see any new PM messages this afternoon on my desktop, then when I logged on with my netbook this evening, I noticed 4 or 5 PMs, some from yesterday evening. I think its probably something on my end, like being logged on over night on the netbook (not verified, didnt think about it at the time), but I figured its worth noting here nonetheless.
