From my own experience, equipment differences are extremely subtle at the beginning, then over time become far more apparent. I've always assumed this was due to 'training the ear'.

Well I think I have one triangle (Somewhere in time), but I haven't compared Castles to Triangles. I just know that both sound so much better than the modern remasters, to the point of being ridiculous. I dont have all the castles yet, and the ones I do, I dont have triangles of, and visa versa.
