I was all set to buy $80k of bitcoin.

It's just some arbitrary rule of the plan. I'd have to quit or claim hardship, which would be a lie. I just wanted some money. Anyway, just got back from HR, lowered it from the max, to 2.5% salary/10% match.

so apparently the money in my 403/b isn't really my money. i don't even have the choice of early withdraw with penalties. i can't access one dime of it to divest. why have i been pouring money into this fucking thing. god, i hate having rules with my own money.

Of the handful of pens I bought recently, I have developed a fondness for the Omas Paragon and Montblanc 149. A Montblanc with a thinner nub like the Omas would be better than the thicker nub I have, but they are both great. I go back and forth as to which one feels better in the hand, but the Omas is definitely the most unique feeling pen I've held. Ribbed for my pleasure. Now I don't care for writing with the Lamy 2000 at all, the nub is quite short coming from the above pens. But I thought it great before trying the above. It's kind of hilarious to pick up a ball point pen now...RAGE QUIT.

I think I actually applied there after college before I found a job. But not in person, so maybe I just thought about it. Can't believe that was like 10 years ago.

got my pelican gun case delivered, installed gun. bought a four pack of masterlock 140q padlocks and had the forethought to try both keys on each lock before putting them on the case. sure enough, one of the locks doesn't work with the keys. that would have sucked. thanks, masterlock.
