Testament - Low

Just finished now:

. I've been playing around the last few days, going from speakers to headphones. Its given me an idea of why some prefer speakers. Even with Insignias, I get a better sense of how hard the instruments are being played, how hard they are digging into the drums, etc. Its showing up better with Steely Dan than with the older jazz recordings though. I guess headphones do have more compression. I still do get something different from the headphones though. But right now I'm really digging the larger dynamics of the speakers. Anything to beat cabin fever (probably just jinxed myself into losing power later)

I'm doing ok now, my parents were able to drive down the next street which is plowed, and walk some stuff up to the house. I am surprised though, as last storm my street seemed to be one of the first ones to be plowed. I'm not sure how much a plow could help now anyways, some of the neighbors with big F250 type trucks and whatnot have packed everything down. I doubt I could drive on it, but I'd give it a shot in a pinch. I'd be pretty nervous if I wasn't able to get this food though, with the possibility of being snowed in again until the weekend, and possibly more coming down over the weekend. Lesson learned for next time, to say the least.

Supposedly my county just closed school for the remainder of the week. I was just able to order delivery from Pizza Hut, they didnt know my street was unplowed. The guy had to park a street down and bring it up to the house. I feel kinda bad about doing that, but I gave him 10 bucks. We are supposed to get up to another 10-15", and maybe more over the weekend, so I need food.

My street was never plowed the first time, and now I'm running out of cat food. And all work and no play make jack a dull boy.

I put on my HD650s yesterday, first time in a while (been listening to speakers) and sometimes I wonder if I even need to upgrade to the 800s. Of all the phones I've heard, I still prefer the tonality of these the most. Its not clinical, its not boring, and nothing sticks out. And I can listen to them for hours on end.

Around here, people don't know how to drive when its 80 degrees and partly sunny.

I'm probably just going to make an appearance at work, then I'm gone. Sick of this shit.
