That's why I have lots of sex with my GF every day, workout and stress reduction, all in one package.

Diets work both ways, there's diets to lose weight and diets to gain weight. It would appear grawk is on the latter...

My GF and her sister refuse to do a 3-some with me. You have no idea how disappointing this is, my life will never be complete.

I heard a pair a couple months ago and I have to agree with Biggie & Iron Dreamer, the R10 is pretty much made for acoustic & orchestral music and falls apart on anything with significant bass or "heaviness". 90% of my music is missing weight & impact with the R10, I've heard electrostatics with more bass & punch down low for fuck's sake, that's just ridiculous & unacceptable to me. Unless your music collection resembles the Stereophile "Records to Die For" list, I can't really think of a reason to buy them.

When do you consider an amp "high end"

It would be pretty hilarious if someone made a knob out of the national standard kilogram. -

Ah yes, the 300B Stax amp, not only was it gold plated, it was personalized with a custom engraved badge. I don't think I've ever seen an amp with more chrome & gold. -

High-end is when you start leaving the beaten path and really start pushing the limits of what hi-fi can do instead of recycling the same basic circuits & parts over & over again. The Moon Audio Luna would be high-end, as is the Espressivo, as would my friend's all DHT 2A3 amp. Stuff like a Woo Audio 5, a Raptor, a Bada PH12 that some idiot stuffed full of V-caps, Blackgates, and bling resistors, that shit ain't high-end. That's like a $1000 Cmoy buiilt with unobtanium military parts and Kondo wires with jacks that are worth $200 each. It may cost $1000 but it sure as hell ain't gonna sound like it. -
Actually, I'd argue that death can be considered a win if someone's life sucked enough.

I think you should do that, and then show the video to the crazy chick. If she still wants your dick after seeing where it's been, then clearly, she is the one.
-
You must let her come to you, and then fuck her up the ass, literally.

Because Friday 13th is a special day?

See, you have to strike the right mix of delusional whack-a-loony and entertaining, like Patrick82.

Go for it. Just make sure to send us the links and take screencaps before the Nazis send your posts and your account to the gas chambers.

Damn. Looks like Seas Excel midrange & woofer with the Scanspeak Super Revelator tweeter. That's just fucking sweet!

Piece of cake, if you can handle soldering a bunch of SMDs. Most people can't solder SMDs, especially not the fun stuff like smaller chips and transistors.

Head-case is clearly trying to oppress you.

Probably the same source that said there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq...

If the above happened, I suspect the L3000 will indeed retain its value due to it being a limited edition item. I think a good analogy would be say, cars. Let's take the Jaguar E-Type or the Mercedes Gullwing, both of them can be said to be pretty darn good way back in the day with performance that was pretty hard to match. In later years, Mercedes & Jaguar have both built cars which will smoke them in performance, but the damn things not only hold their value, they actually cost more with each passing year.

I've had tinnitus ever since I went to a Slayer concert. I wore earplugs, but it was loud beyond loud and my hearing was still muffled & weird the next day. Most of the time it's only noticeable in a dead quiet room, some days it's gone entirely and some days when I don't get enough sleep it gets worse.

Run for your lives! The alien pod people have come to kill us, and they've already got granodemostasa!

Clearly, Head-case members are being taken over by the alien pod people.

I'll have to disagree with this part, though rectifier bottles are quieter & smoother sounding than solidstate diodes they can't match the goodness of TV damper diodes in my amp. The TV damper diodes are quieter & have a lower noise floor and the dynamics are also better. As far as I can tell they don't have a sound and that's the way I like it, if I want tubey fat tone I'll do it by using an RCA grey-glass 'SN7 in the amp circuit somewhere. The rectification should stay out of the way IMO, it's there to make quiet DC and get it to the rest of the amp.

No doubt, but I find it's more comforting and usually faster to do it by hand.

It's pretty sad that about the only writing I do these days is when I fill out my income tax return and when I draw schematics. The computer pretty much does everything else.
