  1. This could be the reason why no Sony lenses in stock http://www.sonyalpharumors.com/first-pictures-of-the-submerged-sony-thailandese-factories-four-months-production-stop/
  2. You have to download the photo first and then open it with your exif viewer. Better low light performance on 5n, but I don't think it matters that much in real world usage. http://dpreview.com/...ex5n/page14.asp http://www.dxomark.com/index.php/Cameras/Compare-Camera-Sensors/Compare-cameras-side-by-side/(appareil1)/737%7C0/(brand)/Sony/(appareil2)/652%7C0/(brand2)/Sony

  4. I was updating mine at around 1:20PM EST. I didn't have Error 3200 but iTunes told me my 4.3.5 was the most updated version.... after trying few time, I finally updated my phone to iOS5 and the whole process took about 10 mins.
  5. Rude Hand Gestures of the World Five fathers Meaning: You have five fathers, i.e., your mother is a whore Used in: Arab countries, Caribbean If you are looking to get yourself deported from Saudi Arabia – possibly amid a riot – you can do no better than the Five Fathers gesture. The most inflammatory hand gesture in the Arab world, this sign accuses the subject’s mother of having so many suitors that paternity is impossible to determine. To execute, point your left index finger at your right hand, while pursing all fingers of the right hand together. The insult is extreme and almost certain to provoke violence.

  8. I may buy the desktop version

  10. The 1 System isn't something marketed for those of us who have FX or DX. Nikon made a good decision on smaller size sensor because shallow DOF isn't what average Facebook shooter would prefer. Shallow DOF makes it harder to get subjects in focus for these causal shooters. The "Smart Photo Selector" mode is very useful for them too. It takes 20 full-resolution images from a single shutter-button press (including some captured before the button is fully depressed), then analyses them, saving what it judges to be the best five (even recommending the very best of the bunch). That a look at Who's it for on Dpreview
  11. Not sure how practical or useful is this, but worth a try if you have a macro lens

  14. The place where my film was processed. The original file is about 1500x1200, 5MB, enough for general online viewing. Higher resolution with Imacon or drum available but too expensive, eg. $16.50 per image with Imacon.

    Grado PS500

I'd better wait for more creditable review lol

    Grado PS500

According to that review, PS500 is more detailed and neutral than RS1... I'm interested in hearing PS500
  18. Exactly my thought too. I always feel hand made processes is one factors of inconsistency.
  19. How about this one?
  20. I'm sticking with 2.2 since most current resources suggest that and I don't have a printer, let alone custome printer profile. lol "During the calibration of your display, you will need to choose gamma and white point settings. The correct choice depends on how you are most likely to use your images. The best rule of thumb is this: Unless you have a color management expert instructing you otherwise, select a 2.2 gamma and a D65 white point. Because Windows PCs use 2.2 gamma, images edited in the traditional Mac 1.8 gamma will appear incorrectly to most viewers on the Internet—this of course means that your Mac friends need to switch their displays to 2.2 gamma when perusing your 2.2-savvy work. Mac-using photographer Gary Ballard maintains a handy demonstration of this phenomenon here. Labs and Internet-based services using the RA-4 wet process, such as in a Fuji Frontier minilab, almost universally expect you to use a 2.2 gamma in the sRGB IEC1966-2.1 color space. That's true for services such as Pictage, Smugmug, and Shutterfly." http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2026
