What's that in 80's money? https://data.bls.gov/cgi-bin/cpicalc.pl?cost1=1&year1=198001&year2=202305 Divide by 3.91 apparently. Let's call it 4 for simplicity.

Saw The President Fly into Marin via HMX-1 to fund raise, as part of his busy schedule. The dry run on Friday had set NextDoor a-Twitter, and today was no different. There was some minor excitement beforehand as some aviators hadn't done their homework, and needed to be reminded up close and personal. NORAD were on it The V22's were impressive And then the fundraiser in chief arrived. Departed to shmooze his donors. And things went back to almost normal.

Took the S.M.A.R.T. train from Larkspur to Santa Rosa For the Railroad Square Music Festival https://www.railroadsquaremusicfestival.com/ Where there was plenty to enjoy. And a variety of bands On multiple stages. We also enjoyed food and drink in other Santa Rosa locations. But now we are heading home on the last southbound train of the day. Overall, I'm impressed by the system, the ride quality and the quietness of the (Japanese) Rolling stock. The system has been several decades in the making, and I wish it well. The sad part is what we have lost, and are unlikely to see again, If you consider the electrified rail network that existed previously.

Steve, you might appreciate the slogan I saw on a t-shirt in Santa Rosa.

Santa Rosa brunch Featuring Shlomo scramble And Bubbie's breakfast sandwich As a plus, the tea cups were heated and it was real milk.

Better (restored) audio to do it justice.

A friend of Joannes was unable to use her tickets, so tonight, we enjoyed the majesty of harmonized human voices, thanks to Chanticleer, at an appropriate venue.
