For those of you that like UK TV, and are in the Mac/iTunes/AppleTV ecosystem. This http://tom-tech.com/iplayer_automator/iPlayer_Automator/Get_iPlayer_Automator.html Makes it so simple, even Mac Users can use it (plus beef it up with additional info from here http://www.xroxy.com/proxy-country-GB.htm ) The BBC iPlayer (ipad / android/ desktop ) works great with VPN's which may be your only option for now as "Although US availability was also anticipated in 2011, an American launch date has yet to be announced as of the end of 2012. Reports from the summer of 2012 claim that American cable providers threatened to dropBBC America if the iPlayer, which duplicates much of the content on the cable channel, was made available in the US market. In a statement on the difficulties facing the US rollout, BBC’s Head of Communications for Global iPlayer Tessa Matchett said “The United States is a very complex media market. Currently, we have one very successful cable channel in BBC America, and we’re looking into what options we have to roll out additional platforms in that country.”[138] In addition to BT there is also usenet Things like http://predb.me/?cats=tv make getting it easy from both sources

Ken, Does your cable / internet provider have a list of supported cable modems? Comcast has this list http://mydeviceinfo.comcast.net/ I think I've seen the Motorola SB121 in Costco Amazon Has ithttp://www.amazon.com/Motorola-SB6121-SURFboard-DOCSIS-Cable/dp/B004XC6GJ0 (Higer priced ones have integrated WiFi if you only want one box ) -

FTFY http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2013-02/21/world-record-panorama-photo The panoramic photo of London comprises of 48,640 individual frames, which were taken on four Canon EOS 7D cameras over three days shortly after the London 2012 Games, and stitched together over several weeks. For any keen shutterbugs, the cameras were fitted with EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II USM lenses and Extender EF 2x III teleconverters, and mounted on Rodeon VR Head ST robotic panorama heads. The resulting 320 gigapixel image allows you to merrily trundle your way from bedroom to office windows, and share any particular vistas you like across Facebook, Twitter and Google+. Unlike Google Street View, residents of London's W1T postcode captured by the 360 degree view haven't had their faces blurred, and car number plates are entirely legible. BT claims that were the image to be printed on standard photographic paper, the panorama would measure 98 by 24 metres.
