Plankton ahoy!

Had lunch with Mother, Sister, Brother-in-law and (trying to be Vegan, because his girlfriend is) nephew. Good times, not the sort of thing you can do from 5000 miles away. Kudos to the staff who managed to rustle up something non meat, fish, egg, dairy, or cheese based in an Italian - gluten free pasta / pesto / veggies.

And does it really tie the room together?

I couldn't possibly comment. (After installing, rebooting, resetting date and time(zone) to manual, and re installing / selecting US / no data saving in case that was the problem

^ #firstworldproblems solved! Banish the misery of your children not knowing which particular track of "dad music" they are being subjected to, on the school run? N'est ce pas?

Signed up for trial in the UK 7 free days ... Not 30 it would appear ... Works for me Initial check shows hits for most of the obvious search terms, although some of the older / non mainstream artists don't have complete discography. Also looking at the albums, looks like they have been recently sourced - e.g latest reissues / remasters. Could be an issue if you want that album, with that DR. And the expected USD=GBP pricing. Welcome to rip-off Britain, although I expect 'stretch can stretch to it. Further research is indicated.

Discovered that HBOGO doesn't cross the pond Parts of Amazon prime are likewise geolocked Bits of Netflix are ok Spotify roams ... And no surprises with the BBC iPlayer

Back at my 81 year old mother's with a decent DSL WiFi ... (Finally) And she's not in cell blackspot either... Yay for mother's (everywhere)

And again. Lucky I has a starter, otherwise it might have been a bit of a sausage fest.

Rather than sit in rush hour traffic on the M25, diverted to Bluewater for something to eat. Decided to avoid the local instance of Five Guys (yes, really) Instead, fixed price menu before 6 @ Browns. Not dissapoint.

Looks like Tapatalk repeats the first pic, for every pic. Looks OK in edit. Let's see what happens. P.s. fish was good. All of it.

Texted 'Stretch. Induldged myself by the river in Kingston upon Thames Then later was recompensed for my Mad IT Skilz, by a meal at The Hurlingham (posh polo club) Unable to upload pics at the moment due to (non UK) Tapatalk upgrade - no WiFi (or cell data reception) at (86 year old) mother in Law's (Sending this from down the lane where there is a signal, just!)

Met a friend for lunch, But the 13th century pub was booked, so we had to put up with This And this Now, just finished "IT Troubleshooting" for sister in laws husband.... Pro Tip: Airport bandwidth on iMac sub optimal, when at other end of house, And on metal table Dogs not impressed

The aficionados call them "moggies" apparently, and the timber sub-frame now has a rubber seal. Termites not a big issue in the UK (too damp?)

Something Tasty round Joanne's Brother's
-
Arrived at LHR. Met at airport by rental "rep-mobile". Pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be, rather than a ford or Vauxhall but instead, a VW Passat TDI 2.0 blue motion with sat nav and leather, for the same price. Result! Somewhat tempered by the fact, that filling the tank from 1/4 full, at the link local Tesco's was just over 73 quid. Call it 100 quid for a full tank (estimated 700 mile range) Got back to Joanne's Mother's, to find her brother washing his new toy I got to ride shotgun, with the top down, on a quick blast, "to dry the brakes" Need to rest now. Didn't get much sleep on the flight.
