  3. Big Little Lies Just finished the series. Joanne read the book for book club, so could educate me how the adaptation differed. Great Cast, high production values and Big Sur scenery (Hello Bixby Bridge) thanks to relocating from Sydney suburbs to Monterey. The titular Big Little Lies of the seemingly perfect lives are intact and well realized, and the nuances of the different socio-economic strata made concrete. Reccomended.
  4. Burning Vans need not apply? You don't want to run-in the Raptor? Alternatively, sounds like a great use case to test a Tesla's autonomous driving capabilities.

  6. I would say limited rather than none wrt content. Streaming or UHD HDR Blu Ray at the moment 4K OTA is coming , but what content ? https://www.theverge.com/2017/2/2/14488608/4k-tv-broadcasts-ajit-pai-atsc-3-hdr nevermind is 4K real or fake ? http://realorfake4k.com/
  7. Meanwhile ... This is interesting https://www.theverge.com/2017/8/5/16102320/apple-tv-4k-hdr-support-rumors Most UHD HDR TV's have the apps for UHD HDR content (Amazon TV, Netflix, YouTube, Google Play, etc) but its the usual balkanazition of content over providers, so Apple may bring something to the table. Somewhat late to the party, hardware wise (cf Roku, NVidia Shield) but standards are evolving so maybe later is better. Compare to Amazon Fire TV, that although it does 4K , no HDR because HDMI (the port spec it shipped with)
  8. Alternatively, is it *whisper* Trying to tell you its time to join the Marin 4K HDR OLED owners club. *whisper*
  9. Happy Birthday!
  10. So "Ye Olde Analogue Shoppe" would have maximum markup? Almost ... https://www.inlander.com/spokane/ye-olde-record-shoppe/Content?oid=2133788 Maybe not such a good idea for perishable products due to the potential ambiguity /confusion perhaps?
  11. Looked at what it would take to SV pulled pork. http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2016/07/sous-vide-barbecue-pulled-pork-shoulder-recipe.html Still requires a Colin-like 18-24 hours in the meat Jacuzzi, and a few hours to actually finish (although you can keep the post Jacuzzi outcome in a fridge for up to a week before finishing, so there is that), Or you could just cheat entirely ... https://www.instacart.com/whole-foods/products/83299-niman-ranch-pulled-pork-with-barbecue-sauce-16-0-oz Which I've had before, no complaints.

  20. Where did the company get its name? Before writing the business plan for Three Twins Ice Cream, Founding Twin Neal Gottlieb was sharing an apartment with his twin brother, Carl, and Carl’s wife, Liz, who is also a twin. The trio dubbed their apartment “Three Twins” and when it came time to start the company, Neal knew just what to call it. http://threetwinsicecream.com/faqs/
