  1. So I watched this the other day: And that made me what to listen to this in my queue: History Of A Feeling Madi Diaz 2021 https://album.link/us/i/1566314408 Example: I am happy that Tiny Desk help me move her to the top of my queue. It would have taken me a while to get to this otherwise.
  2. I think that they could have fit one more Qsound into that sentence. Yeah I liked Qsound - It reminded me of the Stereo Dimension Array that Polk developed back in the day. Getting the sound out beyond the speakers. With a lot of minor adjustments to my B&W 802s I could get Roger Waters Amused to Death to almost surround sound levels.
  3. A Pizza - no I didn't say some pizza - I said A Pizza...

  8. Humble Quest Maren Morris 2022 https://album.link/i/1603699083 Example: Saw her on a recent Tiny Desk, I remember her from about 5 years ago as well. I liked the quality of her voice, and the album did not disappoint. One some would call 'a talent'.
  9. Don't Look Back Boston 1978 https://album.link/i/158642228 Example: My friend and I were talking the other day about Boston (as you do), and we were saying that we don't seem to get to the other albums because Boston Boston exists. So, because I now have a streaming service, I immediately added Don't Look Back to my queue. I have to say any track could be added to their first album. For their sophomore release it is very good.
  10. I don't listen to a lot of classical vocal other than full opera and some live performances. But I really liked this one. Mirages Sabine Devieilhe 2017 https://album.link/us/i/1291109280 One of the reasons I like this is in no small part because of:
  11. Recently, I became a member of the Board of Directors of the Communities of Belonging Organization. We strive to help marginalized individuals get the resources they need to persevere and re-enter society successfully. https://communitiesofbelonging.org/ As a part of April being 2nd Chance Month, we are holding a walk to raise awareness and funds to support our vision. We will be walking around Green Lake in Northern Seattle (for any locals in the area). If you would like to be a sponsor, I have setup a team on our Givebutter site. 13. Condolences to the Knucks family... RIP
  14. Just Finished Just as you would expect some stories of tragic losses (most recent not included) and rocking. Now: Off of the internet archive https://archive.org/details/JohnRackhamAlienVirus1955/mode/1up Edit: The only problem is that it is part for of the Space Puppet series, so I am at a little disadvantage not reading the others first.
  15. RIP Estelle Harris

  18. In These Silent Days Brandi Carlile 2021 https://album.link/us/i/1577159552 Example: Man, this album when from, 'Hmmm' to 'good' to 'holy crap', quicky.
  19. I don't think I need more than 1.5 hours of air a day.
  20. Say It Ain't So (Remastered 2017) Murray Head 1976 https://album.link/us/i/1231091496 Example: First time listening, beyond the iconic title track this is a good album.
  21. I don't know, it seems that we are getting pretty close to Bane territory.
  22. Lost Not Forgotten Archives: Live in NYC - 1993 Dream Theater 2022 https://album.link/us/i/1603690904 I have been seeing a trend recently of releasing live albums. Not a recording of anything recent (for reasons), but of an old concert. Maybe it is just the artists that I follow, and the fact that I follow and listen to a lot of new albums these days (thx streaming) At first, I was like cool, they released the John Coltrane Live in Seattle recording. But since I noticed it, I started to see more and more of these releases. Now when looking through the new releases, I first think yay, a new album. Oh, it is a live release from 15-30 years ago. It wasn't good enough to release at the time, but now it is fair game? Not that I am really complaining, I really enjoy this well recorded performance. But I also feel that it is a little, we have to release something, and we have not been in the studio, so here listen to this.
