fragments Rachika Nayar 2021 https://album.link/i/1573269210 Example: I have been listening to this (what I would call an EP - only 20 min) many times over the last two weeks. The looping and overall aesthetic is really appealing to me. I like it better than a lot of things from her breakout album "Our Hands Against the Dusk".

Nope - missed that one. -
^^ I really like the acoustics on that one. Fun on headphones. I just finished listening to a couple of songbirds new to me. I Cry When I Laugh Jess Glynne 2015 https://album.link/i/1027561834 Example: Mostly dance oriented songs, that I liked, but I was I was drawn to her Adel style, and she can belt. and Innocent Eyes (Ten Year Anniversary Acoustic Edition) Delta Goodrem 2003 https://album.link/i/740210360 Example: Enjoyed her Tori Amos/Kate Bush style. I guess I like these two enough, but is it just because they sound like other singers that I love? I guess I will see if I listen to more of their stuff.

^^ Worth a listen - I wished it was recorded better (I would listen to it more than once). But lots of Prince guitar playing and the 19-minute Purple Rain.

I think I did as well. The movements seem to plot along more than I expected until about the 2/3s mark in each track and then came alive. For someone who is famous for themes, the main work left me wanting. The additional film themes were some of the best versions I have heard recorded.

Williams: Violin Concerto No. 2 & Selected Film Themes Anne-Sophie Mutter, Boston Symphony Orchestra, John Williams 2022 https://album.link/i/1610795983 Example: The second work written for Anne-Sophie, and first long piece that he has written in a while. And there is some movie stuff thrown in just in case you cannot live without it.

Thanks for that Ric. Seems that his influence will live on, but his mind will be missed.

Thanks Dusty - I tested the Album on the mobile App and it plays gapless. I guess they have not gotten that figured out for the website yet (mostly stream from my computer). I just tried and downloaded the Windows app, and it has the same functionality as the website. So, good to know - in the future for continuous playback I will use my phone. I hope that they have it under development for the website/App as well.

Strauss: Eine Alpensinfonie, Op. 64, TrV 233 (Live) Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, Vladimir Jurowski 2021 https://album.link/i/1576539630 I liked the recording and performance, but frustrating to listen to on TIDAL (which does not have gapless playback, and this album has 22 tracks). So, there were these little pauses every two to five minutes as it changed tracks. So, to sooth myself.... Cool Water And Seventeen Timeless Western Favorites Sons Of The Pioneers 1960 https://album.link/i/438067373 aaahhhhh....

All my passwords are super random and long and are stored in a password vault (highly recommended). But if someone dressed as me starts posting a lot in the: What are you drinking now? What are you watching now? What tv show are you watching now? What are you listening to now? What is the last movie you saw? ...threads - let me know.

I missed Alan White passing. I don't think I can count how many times I have seen him live with the various incarnations of Yes (11 to 13 times at least). He never was the standout drummer - but a very good drummer - a great band drummer. I will have a few things to pick from to listen to. RIP Alan.

Just finished the first three episodes - a good distraction for today. I have to say really well done overall. There are a few weak spots, but really good production value, and I have appreciated the writing so far. I am looking forward to watching more of the series. {unless it turns to poop and I drop it like its hot}
