Maybe I can use something like that to create background music for my flyover videos - but it can't do this: A Day At The Races Queen 1976 https://album.link/i/1440805740 Getting back to 'real' music. Cheers

Talking Heads '77 (Deluxe Version) Talking Heads 1977 https://album.link/i/124925532 Example: Fun with David and the gang.

Vivaldi: The Four Seasons - Geminiani: Concerti grossi Nos. 4 & 12 Boston Baroque, Martin Pearlman, Christina Day Martinson 2009 https://album.link/i/1545716709 Example: From Telac, back when Telarc was still a thing. So as you would expect, very well recorded.

Yeah, a little easier to consider testing things out with adding another VST - I don't think I would buy a handful of Weber's just to test them out. They do look next level though.

Thanks, and understood - My issue is that with the Oracle (semi-auto) I can only adjust the dose so much. I reduced it this morning to its absolute minimum, and that gave me a 22 dose, which is the dose I really like right now. The grinder uses a little telescoping post with a set screw to adjust the fill level (max stroke). I was thinking for a few bucks I could have the flexibility to go to a lower dose if I wanted with an 18g basket. I really should be just talked about in terms of the size of the basket, the current VST that I have is 26mm high, and smaller one would be 24mm. The limitations of the all in one machine. That all being said - the 22g in and 46g out that I am sipping on right now is glorious.
-
Yup - that was my experience on the first pull. It is a deeper basket than the stock one. I ended up with just under 24g in. So I pulled 50g out, and it was a lovely complex shot out of the gate. I pulled another one just to see if the consistency was there, and sure enough it was. So, I poured them together and sipped on the quad shot for a while. I didn't finish it, I would have been way too buzzed. But I am happy with the basket, I may pick up an 18g just to be able to run smaller doses in the future.

One year after her last release. Now we have the sessions. Released yesterday. The Apathy Sessions Aoife O'Donovan 2023 https://album.link/i/1661841434 Example: Just happy to have more Aoife to appreciate. (additional 9 tracks)

The Seville Concert [Expanded Edition] John Williams 1994 https://album.link/i/264719171 Example: One of the great recordings. I have had this since it came out, and I always wanted more, and now there is. I don't know when they expanded it, but I am glad they did. Just top notch performance and engineering in one.

^^ I have that in my queue, because of the same source. :} Now: The Best of the Bothy Band The Bothy Band 1988 https://album.link/i/272543263 Example: Who does not like a Jig in a Bothy? It reminds me of my trip to Scotland and staying at a BnB in Glen Coe, there was a three person band playing amazing traditional tunes (one the smallest stage possible). As my friend Richard and I shared the bourbon we brought with the Scots, as we swilled their single malt.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture - The Director's Edition (Music from the Motion Picture) Jerry Goldsmith 2022 https://album.link/i/1617832948 Example: Rounding out a theme so to speak...

hmmm - I like that. I hate the idea of filtering the shot, but this is just filtering the water before the puck. I also hate waist, but still interested.

More Rachael & Vilray Rachael & Vilray Rachael & Vilray 2019 https://album.link/i/1473409152 Example: Just enjoying Rachael's voice more and more. Oh and Vilray can sing well too. :} {And maybe I like her Carly Simon looks as well}

The Golden Renaissance: William Byrd Stile Antico 2023 https://album.link/i/1653762990 Example: There are a lot worse ways to spend an hour than listening to angelic voices pass phrasing and harmony back and forth. I don't know Byrd that much, but I can appreciate this 400yo music.

Full Circle Nadje Noordhuis 2022 https://album.link/i/1636359193 Example: I was captivated by the opening of the first song (example), as I was poking through the list of newer Jazz releases. The rest of the album didn't disappoint.

I Love A Love Song! Rachael & Vilray 2023 https://album.link/i/1651972199 Example: I have been a big fan of Rachel Price for years. I use to see her on Live from Here and Lake Street Drive. I was very happy to see this in the new years. Her voice is a treat to my ears. Sent me down a little youtube journey into past. So here is another treat I found {with some unknown back-up band she must have met somewhere}:

Doing this too often these days. Crosby, Stills & Nash Crosby, Stills & Nash 1969 https://album.link/i/908303090 Great song: Ranks very high on the first album, first side, first song list. RIP

Well this was in my queue for a while. Gives an idea of the depth of the queue. Drone Mass Jóhann Jóhannsson, Theatre of Voices, Paul Hillier, American Contemporary Music Ensemble 2022 https://album.link/i/1603845983 Example: Thanks for this Ric. I am not sure I would have added this to my queue on my own, not knowing the work or the composer. But it was a good listen. I got into the themes and the blend of voice, instruments and other.

I have not had a Jazz Party in a while: Jazz Party Duke Ellington 1959 https://album.link/i/192990980 Example: As good as you think it would be.

That is a bit of money for a basket. But it is really pretty. I have not made the jump to IMS or VST yet. I have heard good things about both and was leaning towards a VST 20g ridgeless. Do you (or others) have a preference? But at the price, I could try a few. I have not had an interest in a puck screen at this point. Next step after the Weber is the refractometer.
