going back to the beginning -- Bulleit Rye -- while I watch Rifftrax...

Vintage Bourbon 17yr is really good.. I got it on sale and killed it way too quick. The 21 Rye is really rich, almost heavy, but has many layers of flavors (lots of wood and nuttiness and spice on the palate) pouring a little more - just to make sure. There is a Vintage Rye 23yo out there as well - have not tried that yet.

Last rung on the ladder --> Vintage Rye 21yo 47%

I really like the HW 16 - better than the others they put out..(including the 21yo) but I just keep buying the rendevous

Took a little sip out of the bottle spoilage test. Nice enough.. It wont be a transcendent dram.. But for $24 it will drink.. will have a proper dram when I wake up..
