I have not done any real searching this season, been a little busy. But I guess it goes to show that, like most sports for me, if I cannot watch it easily and for free, ...meh... And highlights just don't seem to do it for me, yeah if I followed a sport and I need to know the results of the one game that I missed before the next match. But I just don't follow anything like that, so watching a highlight of a game that I am not invested in, is boring. Now when I am in day 5 of a cricket test match that I have watched all 4 days leading up to it, and it is within a 100 runs of winning The Ashes, I am all in! go sports...

Sad to report that last year, World Curling Youtube stopped broadcasting and posting full length matches. Only highlights. I unsubscribed.

Let us hope that it is redirecting not building steam. Now that I live at a base of one volcano and about 60 KM from St. Helens, I have a newfound respect for 'do what the geologist say'. Stay safe.

^^ I watched the Tiny desk the other day when it came out. Was not compelled to post. I thought it was good, I really liked her tone and style, and that was about it. I didn't really care about a 'jazz' label on it, and still really don't. It's music and it is good. Enjoy. So. I saw this yesterday and I really liked the song when I first heard it and how it was used in the movie. I took the time and listened to it again, on a good rig and with headphones. Well recorded, great performances and so fun. So many other unreleased live performances are unreleased for a reason. This does not seem to suffer from that. Tales: Live in Copenhagen 1964 (Live) Bill Evans 2023 https://album.link/i/1715457640 Example: Great Sunday listen. It almost just sounds like live in the studio (no audience for the first 6 tracks). So I did some research. 1-6 recorded at Radiohuset, Copenhagen, August 10, 1964 7-10 recorded at TV-City, Copenhagen, August 25, 1964 11 recorded at Stakladen, Aarhus, Denmark, November 21, 1969. The recording of the second half of the album is still good, just not as great as the first 6. But it seems that Bill was really in a nice groove in 64 and these tracks are a lot of fun.

It had been a long time since I had seen any of these. And about a week ago YouTube served one up to me. I have almost finished all three seasons at this point.

My thinking is, that if I buy another one, then my 'price per unit' gets a lot better. right? right?.. eeahh?
