^^ intersting - sampled a few tracks, didn't catch me to start with, but intrested to check it out futher. Catching up.. Comin' Home Baby Mel Tormé 1962 https://album.link/i/59401055 Example: A fun Album by Mel, with the example being a highlight. Need to have some more Mel in my world. Samara Joy Samara Joy 2021 https://album.link/i/1616970429 Example: Such a lovely voice with dynamics and power. Very well recorded set of mostly standards. Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition Linkin Park 2023 https://album.link/i/1668484895 Example: Worthy of revisiting. A well recorded album that is layered really well and is able to hit hard when it wants to. I didn't need all the live versions, but I enjoyed listening to the album again. There are a few other things, but those are some highlights.

It can be based on history... -
säje säje 2023 https://album.link/i/1698400328 Example: I didn't know I needed this this morning. But I so did. I might be back on a jazz vocal kick..

The 7” Singles Paul McCartney 2022 https://album.link/i/1653180402 Example: So, I have been involved in some larger music listening projects. This being one of them. It is an interesting journey (with 10+ hours of listening), starting with the above track, but I have to realize that he had 10 years of writing before this. And it is interesting to hear the B sides, a lot of them were more experamental. But the highs of this run are very high.

Touch Yello (Deluxe) Yello 2009 https://album.link/i/1443789417 Example: It is more like a soundtrack to a David Lynch film. But I am here for it.

Not to steal any G's thunder.. Curry! About 7 quarts of it. What is it? 'Kinda curry.' It is kind of like tikka, but also coconut, and aloo.. So, it is just Saturday chicken curry. It needs to cook for a bit and then I will adjust the final spice levels. oh yeah, it is kinda like butter chicken too.

Bob was a staple in our home growing up when I was home sick. He will be recommended people get their afterlife pets spayed and neutered. RIP Bob.

Besides he has to help me rebuild my PSU for my ES1 first.. -
Funny enough I was independently listening to: {Great Minds} Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow Rainbow 1975 https://album.link/i/1440924592 Example: Good 'early' Dio, even though he was deep into his 30s at this point.

Hey Ric, it looks like the link is still working, and I am getting more courious. This may work for me in my current use case. But I was wondering about the 'Sounds good', what was your rig with this? I was thinking about pushing it with my laptop or new tablet, and having it drive the AT-L3000's for now. (48 ohm) thanks in advance.

I am not sure I have recovered from this one, but I might watch it again.

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart (Prime Video Original Series Soundtrack) Hania Rani 2023 https://album.link/i/1698589835 Example: I have been waiting for the new Rani album for like six months (they released like 2 tracks in April) and it is still not out for a month and a half! Anyway, I was happy to find they dropped a soundtrack on the 4th. I have not seen the show, so no comment there, but I like the soundtrack. I do wish a lot of the works were longer. You can tell that many were written for the scene vs. writting a long composition and then just using a part of it in a scene. But I will take some Hania over no Hania.

Donation in. I thought this was coming around pretty soon. cheers

The Dreamer - Joseph, Pt. 1 Neal Morse 2023 https://album.link/i/1687520898 Example: New Prog album released yesterday from Neal (formerly of Spocks Beard fame). I have not given it a deep listen though. And from the onset I am a little mixed. There is some grand music going on here. He has gone back to religious themes. This one, as you might tell is of the technicolor dreamcoat style. The music is good enough that I want to dig a little deeper. It could raise itself to the levels of jesus crist superstar, which I like, or it could end up with gebnbneric songs of praise, that seem to land flat for me. Neal had some other albums like that that I didn't connect with. We shall see, but I do really like the music, had me in a heavy groove several times.

And some blues. Johnny Winter Johnny Winter 1969 https://album.link/i/193769775 Example: Enjoyable album. Nice and rough around the edges, with some solid licks here and there. And the line - "There's so much shit in Texas, I'm bound to step in some"

The Kicker Bobby Hutcherson 1999 (um, must be the remix - recorded 1963) https://album.link/i/724539296 Example: Speaking of RVG recordings. So I think that I might be slow on the uptake that it was Rudy that was the secret sauce in the Blue Note history that made magic happen so much. Now I am not saying the performance, that is the magic on it's own. But capturing the notes and giving them to us is sublime.

Georgia Satellites Georgia Satellites 1986 https://album.link/i/298088771 Example: More nostalgia than great. But I still like a few of the tunes a lot. And to come out right in the middle of the 80's was impressive.

Spirit of Eden Talk Talk 1988 https://album.link/i/701395363 Example: Why was I not listening to this in the 80s? I was into jazz and classical, along with Nobody in my high school. This would have been something that I would have listened to. I guess it just comes down to exposure. It was not getting radio play, And I didn't have friends to expose me to it. But like I have said many times in this thread, I am happy to discover these albums now. I really liked this, it is more brooding and a journey than The Colour of Spring.
