  1. Power To The People by Joe Henderson (1969) https://album.link/i/1733736515 Example: Such a great set and a classic line-up. Hits hard when they want to.
  2. Happy Birthday Doug -- Cheers -
  3. If you need inspiration for decoration...
  4. ... sounds like a dangerous combo for a 166 min movie...
  5. Beethoven for Three: Symphony No. 4 and Op. 97 "Archduke" by Yo-Yo Ma (2024) https://album.link/i/1725363052 Example: I didn't even know these existed until today - this was released last weekish, and two others were released in 2022. Only 4 symphony's so far. I hope that they can complete the flight. I thought they might have recorded in the space pictured. - But no - in an equally cool building - the EMPAC (Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center).
  6. I have heard Chris Thile (how ever you say that) say it enough, that I think I could come close. --- ˈiːfʲə
  7. Nice images Ric, that second dudes shirt sure causes a lot of moire effects until I get it full size...

  9. All My Friends by Aoife O'Donovan (2024) https://album.link/i/1716406615 Example: This was released a few days ago, I finally got a chance to give it a good listen. I have always appreciated Aoife's inflections and attack on notes. --
  10. So after many weeks of diagnostics and several trips to several part stores, my truck is finally producing an acceptable amount of voltage. It settled out after this photo and running the truck for about 35 minutes to about 14.2 volts. I am happy with that. It started with me hooking up the fifth wheel, about to make a short trip and noticed that I was no longer producing electricity. I proceeded to check things out and then replaced the alternator. This of course did not fix the issue. As it turns out, all the voltage regulation is run through the computer. I tried to buy a new one of those which would have cost me $500 but nobody had them or would sell me one. So I finally decided to go completely DYI and externalize the voltage regulator to its own device. I got that all hooked up and I was getting too many pixies with it, around 15.7 volts. I didn't want to just boil my batteries to nothing. So after running a separate power lead and doing some additional rewiring, none of which I am very proud of and will not take a photo of, I got it all back together and working "properly”. I can at least move on to other projects now.
  11. We will be waiting for your haul video soon.
  12. Eye In The Sky by The Alan Parsons Project (1982) https://album.link/i/1205670750 Example: I was going to post Mammagamma or Old and Wise. But the title track is just so good. Like most of Alan's albums, they are just so good to listen to. And for something different. Spaces by Yosi Horikawa (2019) https://album.link/i/1463826014 Example: If you like a lot of looping of natural sounds. Tosi is the ticket. I am not sure how it got into my queue, but it really gave me an Art of Noise vibe - and that is a very good thing.
  13. Tell Mama by Etta James (1968) https://album.link/i/1371791759 Example: Just a few tracks that were not great for me. But the rest of the album kicks ass (like the example). Was over so fast that I had to pull this. At Last! by Etta James (1961) https://album.link/i/1440838775 Example: Everyone knows the title track... Much more the classical and strings versions, but man does it highlight her singing.
  14. Altered State by TesseracT (2013) https://album.link/us/i/1045640477 Example: Second full Studio Album - I really didn't expect the change in the vocalist. I really liked this album - Pretty much a single continuous 50+ minute track. I know that Ashe O'Hara does not last beyond this album, but works well for me.
  15. Happy Birthday Defender!!.. --- Wishing you a day full of syrup and beer.. (maybe not together - but still). Cheers (too soon?} Wishing you much healing to da hearing...
  16. Catching up on some early work before some deep dive into current works. One by TesseracT (2011) https://album.link/i/1045570078 and the EP: Perspective by TesseracT (2012) https://album.link/i/1060441842 Just one Example: Very nice work - a little samey. But great playing and overall sound. With 5 studio albums, I will probably get around to them all.
  17. Coke and aluminum foil on the falcon... hmmm.. 🧐
  18. Aliens Ate My Buick by Thomas Dolby (1988) https://album.link/i/1437333011 Example: Say what you want about 80's music, but it gave us this album and this 8.5 min chunk of jazz. Actually - "The Key to Her Ferrari" is a better jazz song, but I just like Budapest better.
  19. Looks pretty good - now STFU
  20. I am sure Grahame had to learn all these during his naturalization process. But a lot were new to me. Look at me, learnin' things...
  21. mmm turkey curry...
  22. Featherweight by Rosie Frater-Taylor (2024) https://album.link/i/1704196390 Example: Some fresh music from last month from a new Artist for me. I really like the heavily influenced Jazz playing and the overall writing. And I forgive the 'no scrubs' cover.
  23. I don't have Grahame's 'this is head-case' meme... But this is HC! I don't think that you would regret getting the S with it's additional features. It really does seem to be setup for getting the best of a pour over. I cannot advise too much. I use this for my espresso... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L92G6CF .. I'll see myself out...
  24. A Charlie Brown Christmas (Remastered & Expanded Edition) by Vince Guaraldi (1965) https://album.link/i/1440948781 So I have pretty much figured out that I don't equate Christmas music to Christmas - but to winter weather. And listening to Vince makes me happy...
