  1. I wish I had your metabolism, Colin.
  2. I just sampled the 'kraut. It's getting there!
  3. Seafood makes up for frozen fries.
  4. If you want an iPad, not getting an iPad is a terrible option.
  5. Those are the sweet potato fries I buy at Kroger, too. Otherwise, looks tasty (those are tasty sweet potato fires, or I wouldn't get them)!
  6. If you read comics at all, Sam, the iPad is the way to go.
  7. You clearly don't read enough comic books, Nate.
  8. I'd be surprised if the Air 2 was replaced with another Air. I think they are going to have a baseline "iPad" and an "iPad Pro."
  9. my iPad Air 2 and a Belkin "Ultimate Pro Keyboard" completely replaced a laptop for me, for any situation where I don't need Excel plugins (which I've yet to need "on the road").
  10. Wait a second; BBQing is weather dependent? Back when I used to do such things, I once smoked a 10 pound Boston Butt when there was a foot of snow on the ground and it was below 0 (F, not C). It made temperature regulation more difficult, especially when it started snowing again, but it was certainly doable, especially with a tarp strung up. What happened to the stiff-upper-lip?
  11. That's a great looking sear.
  12. What you are describing is very reminiscent of the olive foamy mod, but *more,* if that makes sense. I'm looking forward to getting my pair.
  13. I'm using a Rubbermaid cereal container with a gallon ziploc bag full of brine, to hold the cabbage down. I used to use bowls and jars. Fits perfectly in another container, for overflow, and easily vented. that's a head of red cabbage and a head of green
  14. Observed that my sauerkraut was in fact NOT over salted. I thought it had been, as it didn't start bubbling within 24 hours, but it's bubbling away, now. I'm using a different method and container setup, than I used to use (if it works out well, it's what I'll be using from now on), and I think that might have been the difference
  15. $20 is more than $17 shipped, and I would never use them again. I have enough single use harbor freight tools, as it is, and I would need TWO good dies, if I went that way.
  16. leftover cacio e pepe. I always use enough pepper that I can feel it in my joints, a couple hours later (I always double up on my heartburn meds, so that I don't also feel it in my esophagus). That looks like a fuck load of fun, John!
  17. I'd fuck Cumberbatch. Tits are kinda small.
  18. You're even worse than I am.
  19. I have a Harmony Ultimate One. It's by far the best Harmony I've owned (yours is the same thing without the fairly worthless touchscreen, I think, Grahame). I've been using Harmony remotes for years, and I don't think I could use my stupid system without them.
  20. I bought a pair of "resonators" from the seller in Italy (was thinking about making a set, but my friend with the die set doesn't have metric, only imperial, and nothing is quite right). I had a onetime eBay coupon, so it came out to about $17 shipped. Seems reasonable. I'll respond back with a comparison to the olive foamie mod, once I get them.
  21. Being the big Alien fan I am, I've come so close to buying one of those, several times. Nice, man.
  22. As I suggested to Sherwood, I think a cheap used Wii U and the version for that, is the way to go, if you don't really want the Switch.
  23. That looks really tasty, Dan.
  24. Clearly OS X.
