I had Pho Chay, earlier, with tofu and bamboo shoots. Really tasty, and the vegan broth doesn't stain my clothes, when I inevitably spill broth down the front of my shirt (which did happen tonight).

The lab grade stuff becomes 95% or lower, as soon as you open it, unless you live in a 0 humidity environment, so there is really no point in buying it for most uses. 91% is cheap and cheerful and easily bought. Isopro isn't nearly as toxic as Methanol, but I wouldn't recommend making a martini with it.

I've read a few of his books, too. I'd like to see a talk by him. Enjoy!

Yeah, pomade, not mousse. Layrite Original is a very easy pomade to use. It doesn't give a huge amount of hold (at least with the amounts I use), and washes out easily. It's what I use, but I'm just looking to add some volume (I have very fine hair, and other pomades I've used have weighed my hair down even when used with a hairdryer), keep a cowlick in check, and keep a part neat, so I don't need a lot of grip. I bet you look good; you should give us a pic!

Excellent board game breakfast (we didn't quite solve case one of Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective, but we came close), mediocre coffee date, now making tacos with Gardien "Beefless tips," which, having sampled one, are way closer to a solid beef chunk than I ever thought a meat substitute could be. The stuff even sears well.
