  2. just bought a heating pad to use on what I think is a pulled oblique. so i have it on the high setting, and it is lukewarm. is this some nanny state BS? do i need to go on ebay and look for a 60s heating pad?
  3. The PS-1 were designed by John Grado specifically for European ears, so this is not surprising.

From a business perspective, I thought RMAF was better than the regular CanJams (note I did not go to RMAF last year). And there was plenty to do outside the show as well. For me the biggest difference is people didn't stop by my table to be overly critical of Amp A vs Amp B or anything like that, like they would from Head-Fi. People were blown away by the sound from the Omega II, and they would have been at any table. So overall it was a more positive experience for the people involved

  20. heh, with Apple, one company cannot license it and then provide it to another. Apple has to approve every device and every company
  21. the RIAA agrees
  22. i thought the Krell actually took the analog output. The Wadia does in fact do digital. Portable could be a whole different story, although I think JH would be able to make a more convincing argument than most on why they want the digital output (DSP) rather than simply "it sounds better than your ipod's DAC". Apple doesn't want anyone releasing a product that Apple wouldn't release.
  23. it's Apple. their licensing fee per unit is actually extremely low for our market. the fail comes in every other way. you know they won't make this easy.
  24. Real DIY.
  25. im going to be pissed if people say "No 24/192 support??" when I release the 24/96 async USB DAC
