  1. I think the jacks are going to arrive today (Friday). If all is well, i'd like to get them all shipped by Saturday currently unpaid: pagan flecom Anaxlius
  2. The jacks shipped and are on the way to me
  3. huh...the thread got locked over on HF i guess cause everyone was posting impressions in the meet organization thread at the meet, 2 people commented on one of the BHSEs having a potential issue. mypasswordis was one of them, claiming the channels had been reversed. Well not quite, but i did discover the left channel was out of phase thanks to the assembly people swapping 2 wires on the input boards *just fixed it* one more thing i have to always check twice now...
  4. they're finished, and shipping in 1-2 days link to the order spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Am1HOq1s0PwSdEtudDdjX3hzUEpheDBpNk5ZS2RVY3c those who have not yet sent payment in: pagan cetoole The Monkey flecom Anaxilus Horio
  5. i just engraved these plates for vvs_75's blue hawaii build i can offer laser engraving for others as well. painted or powdercoated parts take the longest because of the thickness of the coating, which is also often very uneven. 3 to 5 passes are usually required. Most companies doing laser engraving seem to charge about $85 to $125/hr plus a one-time $125 artwork/setup fee. This particular job probably took 1 hour including making the artwork in the software, with about 10-15 minutes of engraving.
  6. just been told that the connectors are finished, i think they're just installing the pins now. so i should have them by the end of the month.
  7. $7.21 still owed
  8. please see link to Google Docs spreadsheet on first post…thx
  9. probably, what date/time did you send it?
  10. there will be…what country are you in?
  11. i can get way better pricing (at least, a year ago when i last ordered) on 2sk216/2sj79 but i'd be looking at ordering about 1,000 of each
  12. now i need to stock .01uf 1kv wimas
  13. aw. no 2SJ74 though. if you check Toshiba's page, just about any thru-hole part is NRND.
  14. amb has matched quads, and i noticed bdent is doing some kind of matching now too
  15. just checked the stock i have 3,800 each of 2SK170-BL and 2SJ74-BL in unopened bags of 200. i feel bad putting them in amps. retirement JFETs!!
  16. could do that. my experience with pot/DACT sales is everyone is obsessed with 100K i have a whole bunch of Alps RK27 (Blue), but i think thats kind of been taken over by ebay Chinese sellers that are either selling fake parts or real parts for a $0.25 margin
  17. i can get them, unfortunately, the price has increased 2.5x since i originally bought them for the Aristaeus in 2005!
  18. didnt happen to be a DIYer that was only buying your parts to help some other guy prototype, was it?
  19. i could, but i doubt anyone would like the cost. my cost is about $13.50/foot + shipping for the metal (each 1ft is about 3lb of aluminum). then there would be cutting them, drilling/tapping holes, possibly applying a paint or anodizing. this doesnt include the die charge that was already paid some sort of full enclosure w/ 1/8" front/back/top/bottom panels would probably be a $500-600 item.
  20. i can do laser engraving, the problem is just that it's highly risky without having a setup piece to test it out first. plus the time involved to get it into the proprietary laser software. Front Panel Express is still the best way to go for something like this (though its a different kind of engraving) as they have developed their own CAD software and programming on their end to get it on the machine is probably minimal. small production runs would probably work better, or doing engraving on a standard part (such as a pre-cut panel where all the dimensions/holes are already known)
  21. I've decided to create a new division of HeadAmp dedicated to offering DIY parts (both in-house made as well as reselling such as transistors). It's just less stressful and overall more enjoyable dealing with DIYers (of course, this is just in addition to selling the HeadAmp made amps/DACs) I'll have to come up with a list of items. So this is a "Wanted" thread. Current items: - Custom machined Teflon Stax Jacks (pro or normal bias)
  22. i could easily re-order some of the existing PCBs, if you'd be interested
  23. started doing more cardio. did a 10K Row last week (47:08) and a 5K Row today (21:46) to set some baseline numbers.
  24. …i was about to make a thread. then i figured it out happy bday!
  25. happy bday!
