  2. if those parts will fit, yes. im sure the resistor would fit only question is if the cap is the correct physical dimensions
  3. there needs to be a Mouser Prime service
  4. New mount for gps+light Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. ari, did you really hit 51mph on the brompton?
  6. trying to test the max torque on the aluminum oxide screws 1.25 lb-in: yes 1.5 lb-in: philips head strips (chips) with any of my screwdriver heads. will need to try a different type of head to go further 1.3 lb-in is the recommended torque for the PEEK screws.
  7. yeah, they're getting $4500. it looks like the bill for the device was $7,600. crazy system, so if someone didnt have insurance they'd have to pay retail unless they can negotiate a price on their own -- which is a little awkward
  8. insurance just got billed for the surgery (dont know if more bills come later) $21,690
  9. http://www.amazon.com/Seiki-Digital-SE39UY04-39-Inch-Ultra/dp/B00DOPGO2G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1378730545&sr=8-2&keywords=seiki a bit large for a desk but i wonder how this would be
  10. are you getting these off ebay or is there a better source
  11. 30" korean monitor eh? what resolution is that. i could probably get by with 1 monitor if its very high. i actually like the idea of the Dell ultrawide 27", it's just not really enough extra pixels over my 23" cinema display. i lose 10% vertical, gain about 30% horizontal.
  12. march 2013 model. so, inbetween the first model and the latest release
  13. What kind of setup would i need to run dual 27" 2560x1440? displays out of my macbook pro retina, if such a thing is even possible. they would not be Apple thunderbolt displays, cant stand the glass screen
  14. phillips head is clearly wrong for this type of screws as the center will chip when tightening. slotted would be better. not sure how socket would do
  15. some thermal compound maybe?
  16. Sample alumina oxide screws. Was not able to get zirconia oxide samples but they are stronger Need to get my torque driver back so i can see what these can take Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. i'm the lucky one, i've had 4 pairs of custom IEMs made and these are my experiences: Westone ES3X: had impressions made locally, perfect fit Westone ES5: they used the same impressions again, perfect fit JH Audio 13: had impressions done by JH at CanJam. fit was very good but not perfect in right ear compared to Westones. I mentioned this to JH once and they were going to fix it. shipped my JH13s back to wrong address, lost... JH Audio 16: got these as replacements for the lost 13's. I sent them my Westone ES5 to use as impressions. Perfect fit. so there's an idea. get impressions done, use them to get custom ear plugs or something like that. if they work for you, ask JH if they can use them as your impressions.
  18. i'm hoping for something that is suitable to go under the seat in front on a plane, while still allowing for leg room. and has outside compartments good for holding earphones, food, etc. looking at the ID the outside compartments may be a bit less accessible, also may require pulling the whole bag out from under the seat to get to the laptop
  19. on bags...any Zephyr vs Cadet comparisons for a 15" retina MBP?
  20. short notice while i could probably get a passport by then, not quite sure this is a good time for taking a week to go to a show + 10k in expenditures
  21. that's news to me! when is it?
  22. ive been waiting since the spring to see what the new Checkpoint Flyer offers, but its not available yet. They did just release the Founder's Briefcase, but its not for me as there are no outside compartments. i may end up getting a Cadet
  23. It's all about the instant gratification Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. had an x-ray today, had been 6 days. my sling has a ball on the end of it to squeeze. another x-ray when i go back in 3 weeks
  25. i dont know, i'm just assuming that if im in a sling for 4 weeks after surgery that riding a real bike before 12 weeks would be frowned upon
