LSJ74 now is available to DIYers, except you can only get like 2 per person. i think next they'll be putting 1 FET in every box of raisin bran
-
reminds me of when any portable amp pre-order thread on head-fi would do that. except the money wasn't paid up front..those days are long gone though. you need a portable DAC that does a gigahertz and gives blow jobs to impress now
-
is this that same thing that was on kickstarter, from the makers of the Leonardo DaVinci DAC or whatever?

i dont have pain at night which is one of the symptoms of it, so dunno yet if thats what it is or if its just from being in the sling or from some other trauma that is still healing itself 6 weeks after injury & 5 weeks after surgery. just have to wait and see. the PT guy doesnt want to do the labrum tear tests until the bone is solid, which is a few more weeks, if there isnt improvement
-
after 4 week post-surgery appt last week, i asked for a referral to PT, and started that tuesday. it went ok, i found what i already knew - cant lift arm more than halfway up due to pain. but once it is pulled past that point for me, theres no pain, except going back down through the halfway point hurts twice as much. did rotator cuff tear tests, no problems. so the issue is either adhesions/impingement after 4.5 weeks in a sling or a labrum tear which they cant test for yet. if it doesn't improve over the next few weeks of PT have to explore that option and get an MRI that surely wouldnt have been a bad idea to do before the first surgery, but, thats just not how they do things. too bad that will be 2014 with a brand new deductible will see how it goes though..im gaining like 1/4" a week of movement

looks like the seller is banned for a week now. with 100 positive feedbacks a day, if only 1/2 of people leave feedback, thats 1400 transactions lost

http://www.statementbikerack.com now available

the remaining sellers all have very small quantities and are selling them for more than existing north american sources. and the sunelectric seller is showing a fake part, though it may just be a generic to-220 in the photo. which means they probably dont actually have the parts which seems to be a trend with the chinese sellers. 2sk216/2sj79 actually seem to turn up pretty easily, the 2sc3675 sold by utsource seem to be real and there are alternative sources for a high voltage NPN, the 2sa1486 is still in production plus has multiple in production SMD equivalents, 2sk170/2sj74 single jfets...there are the linear parts (p-ch coming) and they are still easily available if you're willing to pay a premium. which, for me, basically leaves these parts as unobtainable: * 2sa1968 900v pnp * any toshiba matched pair jfet/bjt package (except Linear Systems replacement for 2sk389)

this is the guide to singlepower tube rolling -
ended up filing a chargeback for the above sale of about $1100. they said they wouldnt refund me until i left positive feedback http://www.ebay.com/itm/1pair-or-2PCS-Transistor-HITACHI-TO-220-2SJ79-2SK216-J79-K216-/400614226137?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5d4677f8d9 this is the listing, except they dont actually have the items. you buy them, they go out and get them from the 'supplier'. except the 'supplier' ran out of real parts. about 10% of the real 2SJ79 i tested were bad, potentially due to the poor anti-static packaging job

let's not go all singlepower on the tube rolling -
on the 3 rides i could actually do here, 2220ft/32 miles would have been a break

someday, someone will build the gilmore mig amp w/ 6c33. just needs a servo and dc output protection. then people will replace all the other parts w/ a 6sn7 and a coupling cap http://gilmore.chem.northwestern.edu/kgdt1.gif http://gilmore.chem.northwestern.edu/kgdt2.gif for the balanced version, you've got >125W of solid state heatsinking to do, 125W coming off the plates of the 6c33, and 166W for the heaters. plus power supply heat. so, easily 500 watts of heat -
ebay seller just contacted me and said the additional 250pcs i bought about 2 weeks ago won't be shipping today (i had been told today) because they can't get the parts. the ones that were listed for sale on ebay... so i asked if this means they'll be taking down their ebay listing this is how all of the sellers seem to operate, they wait till there's a sale then go to their 'supplier'

dinner will be over by then
-
they've replenished their stock several times. first ones i ever bought were probably from pacificsemi, though i seem to remember MCM once stocking them. that would have been 2003, 2004
-
mike's not even there yet
-
at some point it stops being cycling and just becomes rolling down a hill
-
were they joking?
-
yes. i'll have to find them but the first ones were probably similar to yours and the next ones were clearly Renesas parts
-
i bought 2 orders of 2sk216/2sj79 from pacific semi. the first order came in the clear bag shown and i went nuts on them the real ones i got from china came in a padded envelope (clear bubble wrap) in anti-static tubes that were open on the ends
-
looks real, let's hope that's not the bag they were shipped in
