mikhail brought that same thing to the 2006? ny meet in babylon. i think he was responsible for designing it or building it. i really never heard about it again. so it's actually for sale and it costs 11k?
you know when you're shopping for something online, and you get the feeling you're visiting the same store repeatedly just on a slightly different website? i think that will be a lot of the 'options'
i havent found AC in the umbilical to make any difference. the impedance of the power supply lines is too low. if i needed at least 2,000 feet of cable, i would get custom cable made with the wires for the AC heaters twisted and shielded
measuring between + and - on a channel should always be close to 0, however, measuring between + and ground will start out negative and increase as the amp warms up
i have checked an amp after someone used it for a couple years and it didnt need any adjustment
from 0-100% it's unlikely to be faster than 90 minutes and that's if you have an appropriate sized 5V adapter, which Apple does not include with the phone, though you can use an iPad adapter if you have one.
what would be required to keep both phones active? swapping SIM cards? which i dont think is even possible, i think they use different size ones. Have to buy a 2nd line from verizon?
the tubes are a matched quad so you really dont have to do any rebiasing. originally i did label the order they were in the amp when i tested it, but i found most people never saw my labels and that it doesnt matter
got the Note 4, called verizon's automated # to say i received it and it now receives calls/texts. Of course Verizon says i need to keep my old iphone completely off. if i want to use it as a wifi-only device, do i need to pull the old SIM card or can i leave it in?
my iphone 5 headphone jack has intermittent noise. the 4S was dead silent. both could have used 2x the volume control positions.
no idea what the Note 4 will bring.
i really like Yosemite so far. it's too bad Apple cant do some kind of "iPhone Pro". i cant remember the name of the 1990s Mac software that was a system extension that limited what kids could do on the computer. it looked almost exactly like the iPad...
galaxy note 4 has shipped..definitely having cold feet. the biggest thing being not being able to reply to iMessages (and now, any texts) from my computer like with the iPhone. that alone is probably going to cost hundreds of $$ a year in productivity due to slower typing
i was looking at the 80" on amazon. it seems like the next few years are going to be a sucky time to buy a TV. it's still $3000 for a screen with worse quality and 1/4 as many pixels as my phone.
then there is 4K. an 84" 4K TV is just 4x 42" 1080p TV panels that havent been cut apart...but sold for waaaay more than buying 4x 42" TVs.
Neil on Colbert Report tonight. Went into deep technical details on the Pono, claiming it can do "all of the sound" while the iPod can only do "5% of the sound"
