  1. I was wondering this as well. Seems like too much heat to get rid of.
  2. Jacob, if you get in a pickle talk to me. I could be convinced to loan out a certain Doug-created, Marc-tweaked Blue Torpedo amp.
  3. Anyone interested in a Tag Classic 2000 WK1110 with black face? Willing to beat all advertised prices and cut a deal on it.
  4. Post more about whisk(e)y.
  5. I was at Animal Crossing lunch at Nintendo World and it was a massive line and my kids were sad that we couldn't go right in. Well I more or less owe my career to pirating software for people and if kids arent doing that today (which I doubt) more job security for me!
  6. I have small hands and it is annoying. The only benefit is I dont have to remove my watch with the Tice sized one.
  7. Really?
  8. FTFW. Wait, too easy...
  9. Perhaps take a trip up to Ann Arbor? I bet we could do it in a day and I could walk you through the process
  10. Old? Hasn't changed. Most of this is due to everything being SMD. Not paralleling transistors and using larger dies is probably better. I think Kevin's design is better, imho.
  11. At 59:00 in the WWDC they say "6 firewire 2 ports" followed by applause. I didnt look just listened probably a pretty unfortunate slip up?
  12. Going on memory, I thought the Mac Pro had FW?
  13. I am a huge Nintendo franchise fan and agree. The next SSB game and Zelda game will be all I need to call the Wii U a success
  14. Tapatalk seems broken for me. I cannot even login.
  15. As a current gen mini owner, what Jim said. Its a nice machine.
  16. Me too depending on battery life. I much prefer the mini to its larger sibling.
  17. Um. That is my point. Kevin seemed to think so. Look at the pics in the thread. Venting isn't the issue. The goal is creating some thermal resistance around the tubes so the top plate doesnt just conduct all that heat and act as a giant heat spreader.
  18. Why skimp on the ventilation? If I recall Kevin had a similar pattern and had to go back and add more holes.
  19. Just bought a B&R and I am really impressed with it.
  20. I wonder if the Intel NUC will get an update... just bought a few and down the road a bump in power would be nice.
