  3. Measure one device and wait 20 hours and remeasure it...
  4. The main differences boil down the black and grey plates, if I recall.
  5. Perhaps Al is starting a new MI rig and could take them off your hands
  6. does it run the metro interface?
  7. I prefer candelas.
  8. How about they make Prime 2 day again, that would be great.
  9. I believe they have a lower max plate voltage compared to an EL34, and as such arent recommended. You would have to verify my assertion though, or someone else might know.
  10. That makes sense. TL;DR version: With a 10K pot you have a cut-off frequency of 80kHz-160kHz, depending on pot rotation and time constant of 2ms-1ms. I find 0.5ms-1.5ms to be inaudible, and 1-2ms is acceptable. With a 50K pot and 10K, you get -3dB at 26kHz worst case, and 6ms group delay. In my opinion, this is suboptimal, and I'd consider reworking the values if I had a source wimpy enough to not use a 10K pot.
  11. Kevin/Birgir: Is the 10K series resistor on the input from the original T2 (which used a 10K pot) or was it changed to reflect the 50K pot on the schematic?
  12. Is there a Lightening plug version?
  13. What's a rasher?
  14. I will do an inspection Tyler if you want
  15. Dill and garlic infused vodka is good.
  16. I have. Also, queue Shelly that I don't listen to music, I like to watch waveforms. I am actually providing a useful datapoint for you. If you like "musical" you will probably dislike anything I like, as tastes seem to obey transitivity laws. I would not recommend you try Stax, for example. Stating the negative can often be a positive thing.
  17. My experience with the term "musical" is the popular usage almost always means I wont like it. So, seems an apt usage.
  18. Kerry/Justin/Kevin/Birgir: What smd resistors are you using for designs?
  19. I hope he isnt using HumR if expects them to behave.
  20. Like.
  21. My concern with the bracket as you propose it would be if the transformers have any buzzing it would get amplified due to the arrangement...
  22. A bracket connected to the front panel?
  23. The Teflon tape seems to be working. The problem is that it isn't super durable even after 10 or so layers it took to get the right diameter. It worked perfectly for a bit and now has slight rattle.. it's like the tape is compressing with use. I will leave it for now I guess...
  24. Seems a bit much. I think I will try Teflon tape first. I will report back.
