  1. Buy a SumR, return it for humming and keep the hardware?
  2. I believe it.
  3. A transformer manufacturer?
  4. I use an isolation transformer and it lets the basses through just fine. I need a larger one though.
  5. Used iMac? I have noticed the Iris stuff to be a decent bump in graphics performance.
  6. Large and small signal response would be good as well. The real question is how good are the fakes? If they are good enough to best your measurement equipment (the real ones likely will) then its not a feasible test. The question is how large is the gap...
  7. A cookie would have sealed the deal ... sorry.
  8. Measuring resistance with a handheld meter seems like an odd idea. What about comparing slew rate?
  9. Any idea what a fair price for a Panasonic TC-P42G25 is? I am looking to sell mine...
  10. Sorry to hear Doug. Sent you some info that may help...
  11. So, looking for a way to hook up a pair of wireless headphones and powered monitors to my TV. I only have optical out and don't really need hdmi switching... I can't find anything obvious out there. To integrate I am think I need remote control which I can override with my Samsung learning remote, as with my Panny the optical out wasn't variable. I looked at emotiva and nothing obviously fit the bill. Since I am going active I really don't need a receiver, something more pre/pro ish... Surely someone has made the ideal gadget? Maybe even active speakers with optical in and RCA out that has remote? Heh.
  12. I have checked those places. I was more interested in if Boots or Watsons carried them...
  13. Anyone know where I can find Airpax/Sensata 6600 series temperature switches in SMD?
  14. If you do the math you will see why this is a bad idea. Use more devices to spread out the heat.
  15. Last I heard Wal-Mart was sold out. Perhaps try Target?
  16. Seems Amazon.co.uk sells them?
  17. Yup. My F8500 is simply amazing...
  18. My experience suggests that you have more heat than is appropriate to couple them to the case. I defer to the designers though...
  19. It's too hot then, doubly so since it isn't cased yet. If you leave it as-is you need to consider how these devices fail and what overall effect that will have on the entire circuit when that happens...
  20. Ah. You might look at Vishay HVR37 series, I think that is what I used and also on the stacked caps and other HV locations..
  21. How long can you put your hand on the heat sink before you have to pull it away?
  22. R11 is 150K on the amp schematic I am looking at...
  23. Future has them on order at least...
