  1. Wait, 20’ x 6” boards? How much do each of those weigh?
  2. Is a nutria the same thing as a beaver?
  3. That’s an interesting idea! I think the best option is to get all the drains working right in the first place. one more done, with some concrete so the wood doesn’t rot out.
  4. Is there some gizmo I can put at the bottom of the deck to let the water through but hold back the granite? (I am putting the drain in in the corner of the first picture .. yes I know the first board isn’t parallel…it’s a correction.. and a second one at the gutter downspout which also is causing this issue)
  5. Looks nice! Me running into massive water drainage issues with my backyard project and fortunately got so good rain to test things out (spoiler they failed). Also, learned drain pipe comes in either small or really large (100’) lengths - of course I needed the 100’ section to get the right lengths.
  6. I am not sure I would recommend my usual go to, which is CAIG DeoxIT on your male plug..
  7. Oi what a day. Birthday or no, I am getting too old for all this nonsense.

  10. Anyone have a favorite jtag interface that can power the target and doesn’t have a complicated Vref requirement? I had to get creative to make this work ..

  18. Well, is your miter saw big enough for three at a time?
  19. Listened to Liberty Mutual ads as part of a Spotify free tier subscription during an MRI. I guess everyone has a low point in their musical journey.
  20. I have tried a new Aeropress approach. 18g in the Niche and then 200g water (no bloom, just all in). Stir, brew for a minute, stir and attempt to plunge for a minute (but realistically 30 seconds). So far my best go.
  21. Yeah that’s normal. I think we have two 3.5 ton for a split level 2,400 sq ft place and a single 5 ton for a single level. Glad you are staying 😎
  22. That was the beauty of the minidisc. You do have the slide the cover over to access the slit, but eventually you get experienced and it happens naturally when you insert it.
  23. Ok, who can I blame for the cost per sheet of this
  24. I am looking for some sort of quick release system that I can use to move a wireless throttle over to the other side of the boat. The base would maybe be strapped on around grey mesh wing in the picture. Ideally I would have two bases and then disengage the plate and move it over. On the bottom of the throttle there are two female threaded inserts to attach it. This needs to be pretty sturdy in case the boat tips and pretty easy to disconnect. Any ideas what I might be able to repurpose?
