Does the noise get audible? Meaning, you hear a squealing without using the headphones?

I think he issue comes down to tolerances. It shouldn't hurt to lower the resistor though, for new builders I don't see why you couldn't just start with the lower value, doubtful any harm would ensue.

No, you need to start a revolution for wire to board connectors. Kerry and I are the grassroots movement

So, likely a media (soda?) blasting process? Interesting. The color looks a bit different as well. Not a critique, just saying it looks different than I would have guessed.

I am curious, is that dial solid platinum or is it somehow textured (media blasted?) or polished? I always imagined platinum to look a bit different than it does there..

Perhaps in a bit, I am going to match the lot and see what falls out of the bunch. Yeah, I have equal numbers of both polarities.

No luck with the MagicEraser, but some $10 TurtleWax headlight junk seemed to work on another area...

I don't think I can do it manually. There are 40 holes per channel that must all line up with a PCB. I think I might take another thermal junction penalty and avoid using a bracket and plotting how that could be done... -
Wow nice! Any left over extrusion material?

Yeah, I figured. I was curious if any of the DIY setups could handle this? I would actually prefer a T Bar extrusion to an L, but the question is if the clearances work out. I need to do some math and figure out the minimum dimensions I need and match this up against common sizes and see what my real requirements are. -

I need some precision drilling done on an angle bracket. I don't think FPE will be able to handle this sort of job, can anyone recommend someone that might be able to assist? It really isn't a matter of milling, just pretty complicated hole patterns that won't have as much play as a typical row of TO-220 devices, so need more stringent tolerance than I know I can get with a drill press... -
See if you can find this, more Mozart Piano Concerti

I have a few spots that have paint on them, where likely my wife scrapped up against our garage. Is there a recommended way to remove this? Is this what "clay bar" is all about?

I bought some stuff from Chemical Guys, got my windows tinted and replaced my rear view mirror, which had floating oil from the auto dimming feature. I also am considering replacing one of my headlight assemblies due to fogging plastic. Can I post here?

I recently tried a Yogabed and was impressed. Only thing that is convincing me not to buy one is the name. It seems like you are wanting a firmer bed and as such you might consider it.

Yes, yes indeed.

From a performance standpoint or material standpoint? I have only a few Gulda discs in my collection, so that's why it was surprising to hear him "sing along". I have the Beethoven Concerti on the way, as this disc prompted the burning of the wallet. Mozart Piano works are something special, the other "hummer" Gould got him so very wrong Also, it seems in a few passages Gulda is actually talking, which is very odd as well.

Yet another Bartok "Concerto for Orchestra" recording...

I didn't realize Gulda was another hummer...
