Nice explanation, that makes a lot more sense now.

I don't understand that second video. It looked like the guy starting the fight was pissed because he missed a massively dangerous hit?
- Any $100 IEM recommendations?

What are you listening to Part the Third
I assume these are different and/or not overlapping with the other big Mercury box sets?

Excellent. I decided to just pick at random based on Google and see how it goes. Will report back.

Anyone have experience purchasing a Montecristi / Panama straw hat? I am not quite willing to go to an Optimo or Brent Black level, so looking for a good value in the lower tiers...

- Whats the right size transformer for the original dynahi PSU
Nope. It might help reduce some heat, but shouldn't really reduce hum, unless you have a poorly designed transformer.- The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
Hm. If the battery voltages are on and offset is fine, LEDs are lit, the circuit pretty much has to be working. The reduced volume in one channel to me is very odd. I would perhaps continue to swap the easy stuff, input (assuming this is good) source and output tubes and even the two umbilicals. See if you can get that behavior to swap channels.- The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
Ok. Do the same and swap the input tubes. Compare.- The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
Yup, connect a single channel and measure across the big resistor in series with the MOSFETs in the PSU- The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
Perhaps the trimmers in the batteries?- Removing a stuck driver?
Depending on what was used as a gasket, you might need to pull from opposite sides of the basket at the same time.- Removing a stuck driver?
I usually fashion a grabber that goes in at the screw holes. You can remove some (wood) material so that you can hook the basket from the back. I am having a hard time describing this, but basically be aggressive inside the screw holes as it will hide any damage.- Ye Macce Threade
So what do the resident Apple zealots think of this XcodeGhost thing?- The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
Give them a shot. Help confirm for future builders- Backup software for PC
I have used something by Acronis and Clonezilla. I would also recommend a "clone" instead of a "copy" as you invariably miss something.- The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
Does the noise get audible? Meaning, you hear a squealing without using the headphones?- The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
I think he issue comes down to tolerances. It shouldn't hurt to lower the resistor though, for new builders I don't see why you couldn't just start with the lower value, doubtful any harm would ensue.- The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
No, you need to start a revolution for wire to board connectors. Kerry and I are the grassroots movement- Watches
So, likely a media (soda?) blasting process? Interesting. The color looks a bit different as well. Not a critique, just saying it looks different than I would have guessed. - Whats the right size transformer for the original dynahi PSU
