I managed to trick my Kindle to get the HarperCollins version from Amazon UK.
-
Any chance it was the Kindle version? Is it as badly typeset as the reviewers say?

A treat: 3 year old Short Churchill

Don't forget to blame the new PCB layout as being a potential problem as well. Who knows, maybe all types of resistors worked in the original layout.

meh, FedEx / US Customs delays

Perhaps a flawed implementation of an excellent circuit.

So, I got a copy for 21,000¥. If you are interested, then I would actually ask that you receive and keep my copy until next year, as I am leaving in a week for Asia (ironically). We would probably split the shipping, or something like that. So, it's doable to get it for list, PM if interested.

Sweet, bought and tracking information received. Pics soon. I need to figure out how to do that app thing, looks fun.

Looking to do business here: http://www.fairtrade-partners.com/ They will do PayPal - and I don't see any huge warning signs, but doesn't hurt to get a second opinion.
-
I will accept payment to properly dispose of this.

6061 is fine. Watch out you might not get perfectly straight or measured cuts. I would just order a bit shorter than the case depth to account for this.
-
Probably can do half that. I will keep my eyes peeled.

It seems some of the Impulse jazz titles are making their way to Esoteric's ultra-premium releases. I am glad to coordinate cheaper acquisition if anyone is interested. http://www.esoteric.jp/products/esoteric/essi90133_38/indexe.html

I appreciate the help, but honestly I don't really have time to deal with too many requests. I've purchased the parts, they'll be here in a week, considering Thanksgiving. I had to pay CA sales tax, so my invoice cost was $500.42. If no one wants any, that's fine I'll use them. If anyone interested, see the thread here: http://www.head-case.org/forums/topic/12421-fs-lsk389-b-soic-8/

Looks like lowest is $4.57/ea and that is from CA so I should avoid sales tax (in theory). I will take 50. Preference given for larger pieces of the remaining 100 Please PM me, I am hoping this is simple enough to avoid complicated spreadsheet logistics

Bah, I got my quotes mixed up. I think since there is a wide variety of people interested, and my experience with the C grade being super high Idss, I will offer the B grade, which is stated to be 6-12mA Idss. I will stop the group buy at 100 pieces, they are quoting me $5.25/ea (in my defense I had another part quoted from them right next to this line item and I got confused). I will likely pay for the order and receive the parts before accepting any money, mostly due to my EOY schedule and limited time before hop on a series of planes. Worst case I will distribute these in late Jan. I asked algar_emi who recently did a GB on these to see what kind of pricing he can get so we can compare. I believe I can get a quote direct from Linear Systems as well.

I don't know what to say to that. Do you also build your own ice rinks?

JimL: I am working on a project that you might be able to teach me a good deal on. If I sent you a "dumb question" or two and a large LTSpice schematic and some beer money, could you see if you could enlighten me a bit on why I have DC offset the world's most complex active crossover circuit?
-
Wrong thread.

Let's see what they say. That pricing was based on a purchase from many years ago, perhaps they have increased. The C grade seem to be like super V grade of the original Toshibas, Doug. Have you noticed that as well?
-
Is there any interest in a small LSK389 SOIC-8 group buy? By myself I need 40 so hitting the 100 MOQ is probably feasible with just a few participants. I think they will run in the $2.50/ea (fingers crossed), I have a RFQ out to Trendsetter in ATX.

How did you end up finishing the ribs?

I suppose there are worse things a Young C could be?
