fantastic set. Especially if you prognosticated its release, and sold the older less comprehensive box set and then bought this one and were out a total of $20
granted I was just nit-picking grawk... as for the sigma22, I'd probably disagree, case in point being the totally overkill, John Curl wannabe shunt regulated designs. That hasn't stopped me from building a bunch of sigma22s though!
well, perhaps I instilled too much confidence in you, young grasshopper. It's just a guess after all. you could also try taking that Y splitter that caused the problem in dallas (provided it's the right gender) and sticking both outputs off one jack.
ya, but the tubes are rectifier for a psu, which the beta22 isn't (it's an amplifier), so this is somewhat non sequitor. A beta22 with a tube rectified and choke loaded power supply would definitely be doable and cool...
no problem! I'm assuming that the "yes" means you tried it and it worked, not that it has the outputs and you're going to buy some interconnects to see if it might work?
I'm posting in this thread as I have some comparisons to this player from listening to Al's at the DFW meet. However, I have a quick question for the peanut gallery:
"Has anyone heard any of Muse Electronics players?"
