  1. Like this totally works. Cost an arm and a leg in dongles, but TB3-FW works. If you need to know and have a NDA with Intel, you can find this out. At some point I am sure it will get leaked public..
  2. Cryo’ing should slow it down a bit.
  3. Yeah, those are they. Anyone else interested getting some of these to the US?
  4. Maybe try Jan Didden’s SilentSwitcher? The DIYA store sells them now.
  5. There are M3 versions of those heat sinks. I wish I had some more. Someone here found them for me, so maybe a search would turn them up. I would definitely get a few extra of them if someone would send them over to us here in the US.
  6. Triad, Hammond, Talema, Block and whatever else I had. Seems to work well. I might have a few transformers and boards left? I will look next week.
  7. I have a nearly universal footprint. It pretty much confirms that every vendor is slightly different. The board looks like crap - plenty of nearly overlapping drill hits.
  8. It’s just a generic one from a machinist in Hungary. My carbon fiber mat and various records need a bit of weight it turns out.
  9. Yum, analog
  10. @bjarnetv could we get a picture from the front of the room to the back? So standing where the TT is?
  11. Still interested in another trafo set, if that were to happen or if there are extras.
  12. I am curious as well - what sort of voltage can it swing into what sort of load at what sort of distortion?
  13. I did! Interesting stuff. I will give them a spin tonite for ya!
  14. Built up a second frontend for a power amplifier I am working on. Biasing one channel as we speak!
  15. Hm, how way? -120dBV shouldn’t be hard to measure. -150dV, sure.
  16. What are 60Hz and harmonics down to with the stock design?
  17. That’s what she said.
  18. Can you minimize the noise by rotation where the lead out points away from anything sensitive?
  19. Where is the real Al and what did you do with his Unnecessarily Complex 300B?
  20. 0805 == 2012 in metric parlance. 2012 means 2.0 mm x 1.2mm. Convert and voila!
  21. Why? I can get less than -100dB line rejection (60Hz and higher harmonics) from a properly designed snubber, careful layout .. with a CRC supply. Now, it took some care.. but. I do have PCBs for sale motmotmotmot.
